How many of us are there?

And don't get it twisted. I believe in God. But being raised as a Baptist I generally see no godliness in those who subscribes to religion.

And if you believe the Bible wasn't written or at the veryeast altered by the cabal then you are living in a fool's paradise. The Bible is pretty much a cut and paste of previous world religions and the stories are just beyond belief. But then very few have read the entire Bible. It's an eye opening experience to look at it objectively. And then you have Christians who have pretty much replaced God with Jesus.

Why can't it just be you and God? Why do you need a book and silly rules to get in the way?

Try a different denomination. I’ve never felt comfortable in any Baptist church, but I love my neighborhood church.

Being that the world is in a spiritual warfare between good and evil, you may want to pick a side.

Checking in. I believe living in a good way is more important than showing up in a building on Sundays. If there is a God, and there very well might be, this entity is far beyond our ability to comprehend it.

You don't, if you believe you are smart enough to understand and live by the Spiritual "rules" in a God-based Spiritual Universe Paradigm. Go for it.

Myself, I don't trust my own ability enough to wager on it. I'll ask for and accept any help that God may offer. In a form that I might understand.

To talk to an ant, one must be an ant. To share Human concerns and communicate with Humans (God's "children"), God must assume Human form, and not be corrupted by such. Enter Jesus.

Good luck.

I am a person of faith not of organized religion. Would rather be on a boat thinking about God than in a church thinking about being on a boat.

First, you don't get to decide. Second, they're not silly, you're just immature and selfish. Third, when you say things like "being raised as a Baptist I generally see no godliness in those who subscribes[sic] to religion" then you simply have no credibility.

Go around the Sun a few more times, get a real job, grow some hair and let your balls drop, then you'll understand that religion has value to society, even if you don't personally believe in it, and that all the BS you've subscribed to about the Bible just being "cut and pasted" from other religions shows you are willing to believe what you hear, just so long as it makes you feel good. You have literal "backward logic", meaning you decide the result you want then work backwards to support it.

How so?

There's the old saying of "there's no hate like Christian love". You seem to subscribe to that.

So, because I don't believe what you do, you choose to attack me. Now, THAT is a liberal tactic. I made no condemnation of those who do subscribe to religion, just questions. You do you.

This is a really solid C- minus understanding of world religions for a Freshman course in Comparative Religions.

Nice try. I don't respect your opinion because your opinions are stupid and played out. If it was too difficult for you to pick up, your beliefs are immature. They sound like a LIBERAL in college who just realized that they don't have to eat their vegetables for dinner and can eat Pop-Tarts, and how you saw some YouTube videos that gave you a side of communism you've never heard, and it kinda made sense to you, so that's what you've decided to adhere to.

Religion has been around long before you, and for a good reason. And it will be around for a long time after you're gone. LIBERALS are the ones who think they suddenly know better than everyone else, and wonder how society made it from horseback to the moon in 100 years without their pedestrian input.

Interesting (and childish) viewpoint, from a poster that I would bet a significant sum has not seen his 30th birthday… and probably not his 25th.

Clearly you haven't spent much time learning about how the Bible was actually written and transmitted.

Clearly you haven't spent much time learning about other religions, nor do you understand what little you were taught about the Bible.

But then very few have read the entire Bible.
And yet many who have read the Bible don't agree with you.

It's an eye opening experience to look at it objectively.
No one is "objective". No one is "neutral".

And then you have Christians who have pretty much replaced God with Jesus.
How do you replace God with God? The Father is God. The Son is God. The Spirit is God. As someone who was raised as a Baptist, you show an incredible ignorance of Christianity.

quote:

Why can't it just be you and God? Why do you need a book and silly rules to get in the way?
The Bible is God's Word. How do you know God without His revelation?

You have exemplified a lot of ignorance in a short amount of text. I implore you to repent of your hatred of the truth and bend your knee to the Lord Jesus Christ in repentance and faith before it is too late. If you don't, on that day of judgement, Jesus will say "I never knew you".

Voddie Baucham....why i believe in the Bible

give yourself 53 minutes if you believe a cabal wrote it for world order.

instead it told you to give your life to Jesus....not this cabal that 'wrote' it.

volcanictiger is an idiot, surprised she didn't tell you to go back to the trailer park and hide.

2500 posts in less than 7 months? she has nothing else to do but belittle people while living in her parents basement.
