Even if they jump us with a win over ND though, us going on to beat the consensus #1, undefeated reigning champs, and winning the best conference in CFB should have us in over them
SC will jump LSU if either Vandy beats Tenn or AU beats BamA and SC beats ND. It is really simple. LSUs SOS took a hit tonight with MSU beating Ole Piss. Geez.

Yep. Good news is that usc still has two pretty good chances to get beat. We need to pull for OSU and ND and then K State and Oregon on conf. champ weekend. LSU is at best a coin flip to get in if USC and TCU win out and if mich wins against OSO that throws another obstacle in our way.

OSU or UM (undefeated)
TCU (undefeated)
UG (one loss)
LSU (two loss)

USC in with one loss if TCU gets one loss

No one who beats Ala and Georgia, the number 1 team in the nation, and the winner of the sec championship game is getting left out. But that is saying a hell of a lot and we have to beat AnM to get that chance.

There isn’t a scenario where if LSU wins out they are not in the playoffs.

I don’t care if we beat A&M by 1 and then need a last second pick 6 to beat GA by 1 we are in.

The SEC champion will be in the playoffs. Period.

UGA would be out

You sure? If LSU wins, that's a 2 loss SEC champion. You think they pass on a UGA team that went undefeated during the season which included a season opening skull dragging win over Oregon?

What about the Michigan-OSU game? What if OSU losses to Michigan in a close one? If Michigan losses one in a close one they are out because of their OOC schedule, but if the goal is to get the 4 best teams in UGA is getting in if they lose the SEC title game and OSU would get in over USC.

If LSU wins out (I am as big of a LSU fan as most people on here, but if I am being unbiased I don't see us beating UGA, but I hope I am wrong), LSU & UGA are going to be in. If you are trying to get the 4 best teams in, UGA can't be left out. If TCU wins out then LSU, UGA and TCU is in. Then whoever wins the Michigan-OSU game gets in.

If Michigan wins, that would put OSU, USC and Clemson on the outside looking in and that's why the playoffs need to be expanded because if this scenario plays out, I think they at least deserve a chance to prove themselves.

They will not put UGA in over us. Are y’all serious? Compare the resumes

You got throttled and by 4 scores to UT at home, who gave up 63 to SCAR.

UGA dominated UT at home.

How's that comparison?

If you're meaning Ohio St. & TCU win out.....

1 OSU
2 TCU
3 LSU
4 Ga.

+1. committee will have to decide between 12-1 UGA and 12-1 PAC12 champ USC cuz LSU is in.

LSU. Better SOS and would have a win against #1 UGA. LSU would be in.

Uga- 0 losses

If LSU wins out (possible but tough), UGA would definitely have a very recent loss. LSU could be ranked higher than UGA depending on how close the game is and if we can pull off the win against UGA. UGA is likely in either way if they take care of business against GT this week and don't get blown out in the SEC Championship (unlikely).

A more probable scenario is that USC picks up another loss in their next two games.

1 Ohio St.
2 TCU
3 LSU
4 UGA

They will not take a 1 loss USC over 1 loss Georgia, sorry.

USC’s resume would be better than Georgia’s and would have a conference championship after the next two weekends.

If LSU is 4 in playoff rankings Tuesday and they beat UGA they are 100% in.
No way LSU going into the SEC Title game already in the playoffs and beats the #1 team gets jumped by anyone.
If USC is 4 and LSU is 5 come championship week then it's 50/50 at best.

LSU, at that point USC best win will be a 3 loss ND team who will then have 4 losses. LSU would have beaten the #1 seed and probably the #6 seed at that time

If we don’t get the W in Atlanta, I just really hope there is a way to play USC or Notre Dame in the bowl game.

What a great way to end this season if we finally get a chance to play those assholes, against Riley no less.

And of course Kelly getting to show up ND and everyone in that program, not to mention the media, in year 1 would be just incredible.
