It basically will force churches to give in to demands of any ceremony that gays may want such as a wedding. If the church doesn't agree to hold the wedding, then our lovely Marxist govt can step in and remove their tax exempt status.

With Democrats, there are no slippery slopes, only cliffs.

This is not even remotely true and that is not in the bill. Show your proof sheep.

Can you please cite the specific language in the bill that states thusly?
How did Bob Jones University lose their tax exempt status?

Republicans:
"The party of the first part gives the party of the second part and his associates full power to do with him at their pleasure. To rule, to send, to fetch, or carry him or his, be it either body, soul, flesh, blood or goods." What does that mean?
Democrats:
That's a transportation clause.

That is the one thing the bill will not do. It makes it explicit that churches cannot be for example to perform or host gay marriages.
That is the only real protection provided.

What conscience protections exist for individual?
If my company decides it’s “Celebrate Fudge Packing Marriage” month, can I decline to wear the t-shirt in the group photo?
If HR holds a training session saying “gay marriage is great, agree or disagree?” Am I free to say “disagree” with no job consequences?

This is coming up because Justice Thomas said the ruilings before need to be looked at. So the Dems are going to codify it before it gets overturned like Roe
Even if they codify it couldnt it be deemed unconstitutional?
Codifing does not equal an amendment.

Seems like a violation of Church and State.

It's will lose in court, like they, doj, and fbi under this tard have been doing.
Msm won't tell you the story, but Biden and his gestapo. Have been getting killed in court to law suits. Even getting beat downs in libtard cities and courts.
Pretty soon the commercials on tv will be about the biden era and major lawsuits being filed. His peeps do not believe in laws or the constitution

The majority of folks accept same sex marriage as a law and don’t care to overturn it, so why is another same sex marriage bill necessary?
Because Democrats just campaigned on the threat of conservative SCOTUS justices overturning gay marriage along the same lines as abortion.

This regime in DC is evil!

Where in the bill would anything like what you described even come up? Gay marriage is legal right now in your state so whatever you can get away with now, you can with this bill.

I didn’t see an answer.

Your questions have zero to do with this bill or this thread
This bill is about one state recognizing the law of another state.
