Dems ballot harvest. That’s really the key. They have more boots on the ground going into depressed areas, govt run low cost nursing homes, community centers etc reaching those folks that likely never vote. They hand them a ballot and advise them on who to vote for. Multiply this by the hundred thousands in each state and you can make up a ton of votes. It’s not cheating but more gaming the system. Never see or hear of republicans doing it

Foxnews.com leads the website this morning with a big photo of a smiling DeSantis and the headline about his big ovation last night. Trump's announcement is relegated to a small box below articles about Shrek and Enron, and equal to the UVA killings.

Let's see how Trump does this time without the folks on Fox and Friends sucking his cock every morning.

Nah, you're fearfully hoping that it's DeSantis. We'll crush leftists in 2024 and Trump will get his 4 years and clean house. IF there ever was a shot at cleaning house in DC it would be with Trump's 2nd term. He won't be up for re-election after and he has a lot of firings to do.

He was hoping to announce after a huge Red wave Of his endorsed candidates had won…

I think one of the reasons Trump is running is to forestall an indictment.

(FTR, I think an indictment would be very stupid from a political standpoint, even if he did not run.)

I think you are right. I also think that Trump will remain a formidable candidate against a weak Democratic contender. He could very well win. He had to be the high energy person back then to prove he could win. He does not face that question any more.

You fools think we're not onto you.

He is being more Presidential and you fools think we believe he doesn't have a fire in his belly? Name ANYONE that works harder while in office. Don't worry. We'll wait.

If Trump had won in 2020, all republicans… along with every die hard trump supporter, would be on DeSantis wagon.

Trump was hoping to announce after a huge MAGA red Tsunami.. that tsunami didn’t happen and people really need to look in the mirror on who they want to nominate. There’s plenty that need to be put out to pasture…that includes “cocaine Mitch” and Trump.

A 2-year campaign is going to be brutal. This guarantees CNN an audience.

Everyone will get Trump fatigue.

Talking heads will make money and write books.

We are all idiots, and everything is staged and controlled.

It is all a Professional Wrestling match.

They do it about everywhere. I had one approach me in a small WI town. As she walked up I asked her who she was with, dems or reps.

When she said dems she got the talk to the hand and told to leave.

Have never been approached by anyone from the GOP. Yet the dems are even working small rural towns.

There definitely isn't as much buzz right now. When I saw he'd officially done it last night I came here and elsewhere looking for talk about it and expecting it to take over the news cycle. It didn't/hasn't.

I think we're going to see a concerted effort by MSM to avoid feeding the Trump beast, at least early. But much like the election, it was a ripple, not a wave.

Trump will resort to his usual bombast when he sees he isn't getting much airtime. And he will drop like a rock in the polls.
