There's a reason US doesn't give Ukraine long-range missiles. Because it's not that "unlikely" as we think.
Even the possibility of nuclear war was unfathomable 2 years ago. Now it's a normal daily topic on the news.

"Complete Russian takeover" is a myth. They couldn't even get rid of saboteurs in Kherson. It's pretty clear Russia doesn't have the manpower nor allies in West Ukraine or even Kharkov(which borders Russia) to control that territory.
So the fear mongering of "complete Russian takeover" is just that.
The full on war with no negotiations is going to set Ukraine back into Iraq post 2003 territory. It's already had quarter of its population flee, and the rest of the population is suffering from anxiety, cold, and conscription raids. College kids in Kiev are up for draft because Russia mobilized.
And it doesn't seem like the spiral of aggression is winding down. It's expanding. This missiles to Poland by Ukraine was a damn jarring wake up call.
Ukraine isn't worth WW3. It's just not. It's poor Eastern European country with a lot of internal issues that plagued them since before the communist collapse.

How do you think Nazi Party got so popular? Europe put an economic yoke on Germany. Adding to that Ukrainian Nazis perceive Russia as too "diverse", with lots of minorities in Russian military. You have asians, Caucasian(from Caucuses like Chechnya Dagestan), and slavs in Russian forces. However EU will most definitely diversify Ukraine given a chance. Same thing that happened to France, Germany, Sweden, England.
Except Ukraine won't have the strong economy to support migrants. Poland tried to buck EU migratory agenda, but it's just on a temporary pause.

Ukraine has Nazi-wannbes who are autistic in their ideology. They don't seem to understand the Nazi-ism was about breaking away from the alleged economic slavery Germany was put after WW2 by European allies. They wanted to create another Roman empire for 1000 years.
Ukrainians are just US and NATO puppets who have moronic confused Nazi wannabes dying for the cause of Ukrainian "nationalism". But they also want to be part of EU and be told what to do.

Ukrainians are puppets, but they have a substantial share of Nazi sympathizers, HOWEVER their Nazi worship is based around hating Russia, not really being free or independent from globalist control. They want to be assimiliated and diversified. That's not Nazi, not what WW2 Germany was about.
What's happening to Ukraine now isn't making them "free" nor "independent". They are entirely dependent on US, EU and NATO with many strings attached. They don't have any degree of sovereignty at the moment. They also have no electricity or running water in many parts of the country and frankly facing a multi-year war.

Concerning part is that they instantly blamed Russia on it, and Zelensky is still doubling down and blaming Russia even when intel came out saying it was their air defense.
So it's a false flag effort to start WW3 by Ukraine or it's an effort to cover their arse of making a blunder by blaming Russia an instigate NATO involvement. Either way, Ukraine looks like a turd.
They asked for no-fly zone back in February for NATO to get involved.
