Can we stop the JD5 slander because of a lackluster game?
The only thing that matters was winning the Arkansas game, and we did. One of the biggest trap games in years. They played recklessly, and without care since they have nothing else ahead of them.
Game was close. Stats were bad. We won, and that is all that matters.

Totally lost on 75% of this board is the merit in finding ways to win ugly games. 2019 fricked a lot of y’all up I swear.

I’m riding, playing with House money has me chill; and this year, rebuilding from almost scratch, with true Freshmen killing it, we playing with house money….

Bad games happen. I still ride with JD.. if anything, I hope this makes him see he still has a ton of room for improvement by coming back next year.

It's a message board. It's ok to discuss a bad performance without trashing a player. JD has been lights out the last few weeks and basically put the team on his back. I think it's ok to praise a great performance and critique a bad one.

You just don’t get that LSU fans do not understand that they played a huge an emotional game the week before against their biggest rival and won in overtime. It’s human nature to not to be as amped up for the next game no matter the opponent. Let’s remember 2019 the week after we beat Bama that we gave up like 450 yds rushing to a crappy ole miss team and found a way to win…. But that team was probably the goat college team.

You forgot “played with symptoms of the flu”. But that doesn’t fit your narrative so I guess I can see why you’d overlook that little detail.

The important thing is we won and can play for a championship now. The concerning issue is JD looked like the JD from Auburn a few weeks ago. Hopefully he gets his confidence back throwing down field, the line improves it’s pass protection, and Denbrock works on some ways to beat the zone looks he was getting.
JD got us to where we are but some on here had him jumping in the Heisman race this year. He’s still a work in progress.
