What is the GOP and DeSantis doing exactly? DeSantis decided to govern one day of the largest states in the union with extreme competency. Then right before the election the GOP sends a hurricane to hit said state so DeSantis could show even more competency. The GOP then mastermind a bunch of independents and even democrats voting for DeSantis. In their eyes his competency overrode the fact that he fights for conservative values. Since he did so well a few people start talking about how he might be a good candidate. Then the GOP pulls off their most clever ploy. They get Trump to say a bunch of crazy shite about DeSantis for the sole sin of not bowing out of a presidential race that is years from taking place. This caused even more people to run to DeSantis corner. That is some Trump level 4-d chess right there by the GOP.

The problem with DeSantis is the Rinos are trying hard by corrupting him if he isn't already.
The Rinos and Dems are working hard to oust Trump. Both can do that by propping up Ron and splitting the vote by getting other Rinos to support him.
If Ron turns into a Rino then it is a win for both parties as MAGA is dead and it will be business as usual.
If he doesn't kiss the hand of the Rinos then both parties will bury him.
So either way it is a win for the uniparty as Trump and the MAGA movement is dead.
