Title says it all. I know we all can make incredible ribs at home, but where are the best ribs in Baton Rouge area served?

The best? Sonny's BBQ in Baton Rouge. Also very good, TJ Ribs. A surprise good, Zeas (theirs are Asian style ribs tho but great flavor and very tender).

I like the ribs at T. J. Ribs, but that’s about all I like there.

If you insist on going out, beef rib at TJ’s.

TJ Ribs. I haven't been to many other places but I go to TJ's all the time and it is good enough.

I always heard TJ's are boiled ribs.

Oak and Smoke. He's a popup, though. You have to go wherever he is on said day. They post the schedule on social media. Typically Gilla every Wednesday night and Rally Cap every Friday, with some Tin Roof and other appearances sprinkled in.

Checkout Adams Ribs if you are ever in Chicago. Get extra cole slaw.

It ain’t a smokehouse, but I love the ribs from Superior Grill.
There’s a Sonic two blocks away if you don’t like my answer.

TJ’s has a good cedar plank Jamaican salmon.

I wouldn't say they're anything special, but the dry rub St. Louis ribs at Sonny's are my favorite... plus you get get AYCE for like $13.99.
TJ's are OK - just OK - but their wings are better than their ribs.
Ronnie's Ribs about a decade ago were fairly legit

Nah, I worked in the kitchen there when I went to LSU. Pretty much all the long-smoke BBQ there is cooked in an electric smoker, refrigerated overnight, then reheated on a high temp combo gas/wood grill. Baby back, St. Louis Style, beef ribs, and chicken are all done this way. Sliced brisket is smoked, cooled, sliced, then reheated/held in a steam table in beef demi.

That is true. The boiled ribs is just a dumb lazy rumor

By far the best in BR, J. Alexander's and it's not even close.

I agree with the Superior and J. Alexanders suggestions. Best ribs in BR, by far.
