The Witcher: Blood Origin trailer

Yeah it looked like a pilot that would’ve been laughed at by the WB.
Or my fears of what the Witcher will be when Cavill isn’t there to keep the writers out of the ditch.

I think it’s multi faceted.
-They can’t get work on the type of shows they want
-They are vastly different politically than the original content creators
-Representation is required by most of the platforms so if they don’t write woke it won’t get the green light
-Some of them actually hate the fans of the IP and enjoy trolling them
-Many of them just aren’t very good. Keep in mind with all the platforms and channels more writers are employed than ever, it’s like the NFL where there are only so many QBs to go around

Netflix acquired the rights to the Witcher universe, found the best possible man alive with the talent and knowledge to play its protagonists (or deuteragonist if you wanna argue that), which could’ve easily become one of the top shows around and possible legendary if they didn’t completely frick it up.
Imagine it like this. How much would anyone give a shite about House of Dragon if all 8 seasons of GoT were season 8 quality and Jon Snow got recast after meeting Mance and Ygritte

How about you do some research on the source material? The entire Witcher series is rooted in Slavic mythology. Educate yourself. I have no problem with Yeoh, she’s an amazing actress. I don’t have anything against any of the other actors or actresses in this show either but all of these shows over the past few years are so FORCED with inclusivity. It’s insulting.

Witchers were created to fight monsters, I saw zero monsters in that trailer
The story of the conjunction of spheres could be interesting, but don't tell me it's about the first Witcher if it actually isn't.
