If real why didn't you crush the piece of shite's windpipe or pull out a pocket knife to rid the trash from the world?

What is more trashy, owning a pit bull or suing after an injury?

My pit bull attacked someone walking their dog, this thread sure is timely!

My Attorney is suing the other dog's Owner's homeowners insurance. Is there a guideline for settlements stemming from pet liability?
Be honest, you own the pit and you're the one being sued. Either that or you're simply an idiot for thinking it best to ask the OT instead of the attorney you are supposedly paying to handle your case.

I had to have surgery on my finger and missed three months of work, and still having difficulty while recovering.

I usually have my 9mm in my garage while I am out there, but that night I didn't, and heard my wife scream from three houses down. Didn't have time to go in the house and get armed.

Dog bites are still under strict liability in Louisiana. Coverage is another issue.

You broke your finger. Boo hoo. Have your medical insurance pay for your finger and tell your neighbor he is a piece of garbage for owning a garbage dog.

I would not go boat shopping just yet.

Pitbull defenders will be here shortly to say it’s the owners fault and not the dogs and what did you and your wife do to piss off the breed of peace.

Are you claiming irritable bowel symptoms from the PTSD?

Hey guys, I'm having a heart transplant tomorrow. Can you guys tell me what the recovery time and prognosis is for this?

A girl I used to work with got $90k when she visited (as an invited guest) the house of another girl we worked with and their dog (non-pitbull) lunged at her and bit part of her ear off, Mike Tyson style. I'm not positive but I think the $90k was after medical bills and atty fees, because the girl quit her job and bummed off somewhere once the checks had cleared.

It is common for your average homeowner's policy to include $1,000,000 in liability and $1,500 - 5,000 for medical payments to others. These are the coverages that would apply.
What is also common, unfortunately, is owning a pit bull is an exclusion, and the policy will not pay out. You are probably going to have to sue the guy personally.
