Cool video of herbstreits day on Saturday.
@ 9:30 in the video : “They don’t have the game ops with the lights but they bring the same energy”
Just imagine if we did have the led lights and were more dialed in with games ops….

We don't need lights, fireworks, canned music clips, or dancing clowns for keeping the ADHD set entertained. Those elements actually take the crowd out of the game.
Tiger Stadium is a loud, intimidating venue. We only need the crowd. This was proven once again on Saturday night. Few stadiums rival it.

We can’t get the fricking scoreboard to work half the time, how the hell can we have LED lights!!!! ????

Can we just get speakers that are up to high school levels? Half the stadium can’t even make out the sound coming out. It’s mind blowing.

seems like the playclock stops working at least once a year too. Tiger Stadium desperately needs to have its interior renovated.

Cool video, but I don't give a shite about LED lights. I kind of like that we don't have them.
What I liked about the video was Herbstreit and Fowler on the plane after the game, clearly getting drunk, and raving about how awesome the game and stadium were.

I wish we had them just to make the field brighter. It looks so dark compared to some other stadiums. I don't give a shite about the light show part of it.

Even as an LSU fan, that overhead shot with the fireworks exploding and the stadium lights flashing orange at Tennessee as the crowd poured onto the field was an awesome scene. But I also like hearing the awe in Fowler's voice when he talks about the scene at LSU Saturday. He is genuine when he says that when there is a huge game on the line there is no environment like LSU. It is a sustained wall of noise and passion

Have you watched any of the teams with those things play?
Crowd seems to be pretty damn into the game to me.

We bitch that people leave early yet we don’t realize we need to make changes to keep this ADHD generation entertained. LSU needs to not only look at what other teams are doing, they need to do things to exceed them.
