Speaking of Tucker....Nimmo at 8/$162, what's Tuckers market value?
It certainly seems like Cranes strategy is to sign guys to pre-FA undermarket extensions (Tuve, Bregs, Yed). Crane hasn't and apparently refuses to hand out 5 year deals in free agency. My read is that Tuck and Yed were probably offered the same extension and Tuck turned it down. Seems he may go the way of Springer and Correa and price himself out in free agency. He certainly seems like a $150-$200 million candidate right?

If he was a free agent today going into his age 26 season every bit of 10/$300, and if he keeps putting up 30/100 seasons with MVP shares he'll still get that when he's a free agent in 3 years.
I'd have no problem offering him an extension in the same ballpark as Nimmo's deal, to see if he bites. Put him under contract for his three arbitration years plus 5 more.

Kiermaier to Toronto which is prob good news for us cause they were one of the top teams chasing an outfielder. I’d assume they’d be out on Benentendi/Conforto/Brantley now but I guess they still could and use Kiermaier as a defensive replacement
