If he tries to make Twitter into our version of China's wechat, there would be a lot of features that a blue check can give you perks for.
It he doesn't do anything with Twitter, then there's no way in hell I'll pay for a blue check. But if he adds some cool features that I like or find convenient, I'll probably get a blue check.

SOMETHING changed. when i look at conservative-based tweets people post on here before it was 99.9% nasty/negative comments below it.
now its more like 50/50.
someone turned off the 'suppression' algorithm or deleted it. i hope elon eventually 'outs' some of these algorithms or reasons why twitter always appeared so leftist-united at like 99%.
also i would LOVE to know how the 'krakenstein brothers' or whoever they were always were the FIRST RESPONSE to EVERY SINGLE TRUMP TWEET FOR 4 YEARS.

The best part about seeing Elon take over Twitter and being open and transparent and tweeting about things you'd never see a CEO/company owner usually do is how many people are laughing at him and mocking at how bad he's failing...without realizing that the way he is handling Twitter is no different than what he's always done with Tesla and being open/transparent and tweeting about a lot of it, and that company is sorta working out well for him right now.

This has been quite amusing to see. Especially when you hear that facebook/meta is having mega layoffs next week, and they don't say anything, but the twitter layoffs are superbad.
I've said it before: if you don't actively encourage your neighbor's kids to change their gender, they consider you a far-right maga nazi. This is crazy.

Go look at the tweet from The View that Whoopi announces that she is done "until she feels more comfortable" or whatever. There is no way the comments would look like that before. There was definitely some suppression going on.

I'm sure he ever once considered the possibility of losing advertisers when he took over. He's been so unsuccessful in life, he never would have been able to think about this possibility
