She was only remotely funny on Seinfeld, a small character role written for her.

Having said that I thought Musk was all about freedom of speech?? Let the bird out of the cage and all that…

could care less about Griffin, but seeing him personally involved in little decisions like this is not going to win back advertisers.

So what?

SOMETHING changed. when i look at conservative-based tweets people post on here before it was 99.9% nasty/negative comments below it.

Go look at the tweet from The View that Whoopi announces that she is done "until she feels more comfortable" or whatever. There is no way the comments would look like that before. There was definitely some suppression going on.
societal THOUGHT CONTROL on a MASSIVE SCALE and over 50% of the people in this country were OK with it because it supported their worldview.

let that sink in.

oh mmcgrath & tejas and their ilk were card-carrying members of the smug 'just build your own twitter' club and now they have lost their mind because an ACTUAL ToS VIOLATION targeted 'one of us' instead of the silent shadowbans, algorithmic hijinks and rampant bannings of conservatives.

NOW THEY CARE.

I just popped in to say it’s amazing that Kathy Griffin is a “celebrity”.

Stealing someone identity to deceive and spread misinformation is not freedom of speech

Elon is a hypocritical bitch.

For Twitter to deserve public trust, it must be politically neutral, which effectively means upsetting the far right and the far left equally

Then says vote Republican.

He spent 44 billion to influence elections.

liar

he said he supports voting for whatever party isn't controlling all 3 branches of government because gridlock is a preferred outcome to all the power concentrated in one party.

So he's not allowed a political opinion?

Hypocritical would be deleting all the "vote Democrat" or "vote blue" tweets but allowing the pro-Republican ones.

not when he says twitter needs to stay neutral, and he owns twitter. How can you even make an excuse for this? You'd be saying the same thing if he said to vote democrat

Elon can personally suggest whatever he wants. No different than any other person, politician, celebrity, etc...

That is different than Twitter as a company doing it.
