My sunroof on my 2017 f150 did the same thing, they repaired it, but put the damn track in upside down. I decided to go the trade in route on a 2021 F150 that banner ford had on the lot

Chevrolet reimbursed me for thousands when no loaner was available on my 'extended' repair. Imagine Ford will do the same. Talk to them through Twitter DM or other customer service avenue.

Sun roofs are crap, and should be avoided as they will leak as the sun ages the seals.

A very simple 10 dollar approach to a permanent fix..........Go to an rv dealership and purchase the 10 dollar roll of roof repair tape. Very thick and not subject to uv degradation, the adhesion improves with the hot summer rays. Comes in maybe three colors. I put the white on my Toyota sunroof. Not visible from the side of the car, and makes a great spotting tool for police helicopters

Yes, the BR CDJR location finally transferred it to the Metairie Ford store since they have been trying since April to fix, at least 50+ days with them. I called the Metairie store Friday for an update, been there a week, said no techs have even looked at it and they’d need 2 weeks to diagnose it to even know what parts to order. I guess those 8 weeks BatonRouge had it wasn’t long enough. Today I was told it was in service bay but still no parts have been ordered, so I still have parts order and delivery lead time before repairs even commence.

trade out for a new one. The should give you close to what you paid for it. You could even try to sell it to carmax or carvanna for more than you paid

I've learned anything about cars over the years it is that sunroofs are rarely ever worth the potential hassle. A hole in any roof will always be a risk.
. All sunroofs are an aftermarket item. The metal isn’t stamped for sunroofs. They are taken to a locals supplier after assembly and cut in.

Btw…if anyone is looking at this Blue King Ranch on their lot, the sun roof is inoperable on this one as well. I test drove it.

Don’t let them tell you anything about a “we owe” and they’ll fix it. Or you’ll be 6 months later with no fix.

I purchased my truck from Bryan Chevrolet, but Matt Bowers bought them out. I needed service on it and took it to MB since it was a warranty job. When I got there, all the Bryan service managers were gone and were replaced with a bunch of idiots.

They couldn’t figure out what was wrong with it and told me to bring it back if the problem continues. I guess they thought it was going to fix itself..

Long story short, I took it to Banner Chevrolet, they diagnosed and fixed it. Screw Matt Bowers, I would never purchase a car from any of their dealerships.

You sound like their service department…probably one of the managers. LOL. It was a $33k out the door transaction on a 2017. But yea I can see how it taking them 70+ days to replace a sunroof is my fault. Poor customer service, lack of communication, and not keeping promises made…you should only get the alternative if you have a $1k note. My bad bruh.
