I worked for airline through the 80s-90s and met and shook hands with quite a few famous folks but my top experiences were the ones below.
Muhammad Ali at CVG - 3 different times I preboarded him and his wife and escorted them onto the plane before any other passengers. One of those times he showed me a magic trick. All of these times he signed his autograph on a bag tag for me.
Cindy Crawford at CVG - same as above preboarding before anyone and signed autograph
Ace Frehley at CVG - saw him coming through concourse carrying LP guitar case. This was 1990, not a soul in the airport knew who he was without makeup. Talked to him for about 15 minutes while he waited to board flight.
Nicko McBrain - twice in 1988 in Huntington WV HTS airport - he married a girl from my hometown. No one knew who he was accept me. He was very polite and he talked with me about the area while he waited on his flights.

Gale Sayers and Ray Nitschke were talking outside the press conference making the NFL 75 announcement. Walked up and shook both of their hands. Have a picture with them holding the 75th anniversary ball. That ball was eventually signed by Reggie White and is sitting on my closet.

Lou Ferigno. I've mentioned this before but somehow my senior citizen mom is friends with him. One day I come over and Ferigno and my stepdad are just hanging out in the living room. My mom knew he was an actor but didn't have a clue about anything he was in. And had no idea he was the the hulk.
