re: Gary Chamber weighs in on St. George
Posted by Kjindave on 5/2/24 at 10:51 pm to LSUGRAD2008
This is correct. I live in St George. I old, kids are raised, so this doesn’t affect me as much as young families. I sent my kids to private school from kindergarten until they graduated. This was late eighties to early 2000s. I made decent money so I was able. It was expensive but , in the end, worth it. So I’ve got a little experience here.
I like to think that most black people work hard and want this best for their families. A black man worked as a warehouse manager for the company my father worked for his whole life. He was a simple man, respectful, dependable. He’d come help fix our cars. Do odd jobs and my dad would pay him. He showed up everyday kept his head down and just worked. On retiring he was a millionaire. He ended up supporting his grandchildren. I don’t know the story about his kids but they apparently didn’t support and nurture their children. But he did. My point is there’s a lot of food hard working black folks. I’d like to think more are like Henry than those that give the race a bad reputation.
I would like to think hard working adults, and I’m talking about all us “white folks” who claim to hate the race baiting quit using it. I think most black adults want to end this cycle. So do we. It won’t end until we get race out of the equation. Just my two cents.

Digital services

Got cat 6 in my house Fiber is in the ground. I think I can choose from Cox, REV or AT&T to run the “last mile “ and hook up digital service. Have had Cox forever no real issues except cost. Any comments or suggestions

Ever heard of phosgene
Anyone else get the 125 page Digital Service Agreement from Chase?
Posted by Kjindave on 8/2/23 at 12:18 pm
I’ll be transferring all funds from Chase. Not reading all that legalese. I can’t even access my account without accepting their crap. It’s so nice of them to allow me let them use my money and sign away any reasonable rights.
Used to travel there for business. Was surprised at how many good looking women.

Background; everything fed by coax
“Upgraded” to Contour
Nothing but issues, pixeling, freezing, etc
Cox send a guy out and he replaces with a set of wireless boxes, stopped the pixel freezing issue
Screen is dark ever since
Tried to reset to factory settings
Tried all brightness settings
Can’t find any setting on the Cox equipment
Any ideas or just buy a new one? Set is 10 years old

Thanks for the replies. Bad modules. New controller was $230, 2 modules $110, just bought the whole thing. Now it works

I have seven stations. It’s worked fine for several years. We haven’t used it in a while. Now it only recognizes the first three stations. Anybody know how to fix. I unplugged the power. No help. I couldn’t get it to reset to original settings. Anybody have any suggestions
Lake at white oak is out. Good thing we got a standby

This is sarcasm right
Our rush was, while not nonexistent, couldn’t get the Qb on the ground. He threw pretty accurately on the run too. It’s hard too hold coverage that long. We didn’t tackle well most of the game. All fixable and I think CBK will. Let’s look for steady improvement over the season
That’s what I saw too. Under pressure he tucks it and didn’t seem to looking downfield.

I didn’t say they didn’t get in there. I’m saying the angle off his foot looked awfully low. I could be wrong

Wow! Those bikini pics are great but there’s something about a sexy woman with perky ones in a sweater. This is almost better than the opening day of football; thanks????
