They also aren't typically in areas where "random gun violence" is pretty commonplace. The white coeds who you are referencing where often times killed at homes in areas where crime is unusual. This young girl was killed in an area that was the ghetto...or at least ghetto-adjacent...at a time where BR is posing record or near record murder totals annually. Thus, it is a far greater leap of logic to presume she may be the victim of a serial killer rather than just a victim of a crime that is not all that un-commonplace in that area.

I’ve heard the same thing from folks in the know and that’s why it’s so sensitive.

So serial killer is more reasonable than robbery gone wrong? Silly.

Y'all. SMH. The only reason "serial killer" was mentioned is that I was initially replying to another poster.

But if you want to call it silly, give me the stats of white women in BR gunned down by carjackers versus white women killed by people they know OR stalkers.

, most just assume it is what it will likely turn out to be. Yet another senseless killing in a city where a murder occurs every few days or so. The only difference being that the victim didn't fit the same profile of most of the victims

Serial killer and gang initiation are both made up bullshite to freak out gullible people. It was a random act of violence. Which isn’t any better but let’s be real here.

Thanks, Inspector Callahan.

Are they trying to protect the juvenile or they know where he is, just need to locate him? Why is it so sensitive?

Statistics mean nothing to the individual.

Someone was found dead in a car on Jefferson at Tiger Bend a few months ago.

I did not know about that one. Still, people get shot in their cars all the time.

Edit: is this what you’re talking about? Bc this pos was arrested.

It’s more likely serial homicides.

If you are in a gang and kill 3 people during your regular street violence. Are you are serial killer or just a gangbanger?

Well a few years ago you weren’t typically hanging out on government street.

Not sure in the timeline, but when I moved out of br they were just starting to do work in that area. It wasn’t somewhere college kids hung out.

I used to live in capitol heights and even when I would go to the Walgreens there in s Acadian there was always a cop parked outside at night.

Does anyone have an update on this or know more about what she might’ve been talking about? I feel like she wouldn’t just make this up out of thin air

Everyone on here insists it wasn’t a gang initiation or a serial killer. I tend to agree just based on the fact that Baton Rouge has a major thug piece of shite problem but the fact of the matter is that nobody knows for sure. Who are we, outside of law enforcement who has more info, to rule it out?

TD, I was told I can't post in the Allison Rice thread anymore. I don't care, but I see people are accusing me of "victim blaming". Maybe I didn't explain what I meant well enough, but I am not victim blaming at all.

I said I have a feeling there could be more to it than the obvious (you have to assume the obvious, but what I was getting at was that the police department should have been able to rule out if it was someone who might have followed her to the tracks. Maybe they were following her home, but with all the businesses from the Beer Garden.. or other places in that area to the tracks, I find it hard to believe that at least a few of those businesses don't have some type of footage to help them rule out.. or see if it could have been some crazy arse she turned down or something like that).

I would never victim blame a 21 year old college kid who was murdered. By all accounts there was nothing she could have done to deserve what happened to her.

When something like that happens, people who come into baton rouge and go through that area from time to time are starting to question whether they should stop going for awhile or for good. Evidently the BRPD doesn't care if businesses in their city get hurt by the pitiful job they are doing.

Again, I am not victim blaming, if anything I am trying t express how horrible the city of baton rouge is getting because of that bitch in the mayors seat and the clown she controls to run the police department.

Im glad you said this. A white coed getting killed in a not so good area of town would normally bring a lot of attention to that area

Of course with these clowns running the city it hasn't, but I can't post in the the sticky thread anymore because I said "I wouldn't be surprised if something other than what everyone one is assuming happened, happened". I was accused of victim blaming. But you are absolutely right. People have to keep an open mind. They simply don't know, everything is assumed at this point, but of course people never want to hear anything than what they already made up their mind to believe.
