Her comments are great for recruiting smh. Could've said we are thinking of her and praying for her. Those cheering for Griner's imprisonment are the greatest threat to American freedom. Just really sickos cheering for someone being locked up in a foreign jail because they disagree with her politics.

More athletes and coaches should handle political questions from wormy reporters looking for a headline this way. I’ve been saying this you are not obligated to answer every question the media asks. You don’t give your game plan out to them why should your politics be any of their business

She has been considered a villain since she backed the athletic program at Baylor during the football rape stuff. You asked her to hide her sexuality and she did while under your program and when she finally tells what really happened you get mad and tells ESPN to fire the reporter that broke the story? I know this is a non-understanding fan base and as a parent of an African American recruit this would look really bad in my eyes. So, you all can keep thinking it will be ok and you're all going to be upset when recruits turn elsewhere. She needs to learn how to read the room and not just say what she truly thinks because it looks really bad.
