Again, is this your first time tracking a hurricane? Auburn's location is barely on the inside left of the end of that cone. As the storm nears landfall, that will narrow significantly.

Barring any unexpected hard left turn, Auburn will just get outer bands if anything. even then, it doesn't look like it has the strength to maintain formation over land all the way up to the town.

The powers that be are definitely watching this closer than most of us on this site and I promise they will make the call if necssary but that won't be til Wednesday once the storm is closer.

Just pump the brakes on the doomsday prophecy.

The eye of the storm can pass anywhere from Panama City to Tampa. Anyone thinking in absolutes right now is a fool.

Teams typically travel the day before, correct? With the current trajectory I don't see LSU allowing the team to travel in the day before the game.

Maybe geography is not your strong suit because that track takes it into Florida and Georgia not Alabama..... Also Auburn is way Far inland to be affected by hurricane force winds it would have to be a monster storm

What's sad is that I read this whole thread to find encouragement that nothing will stop the game Sat. including a hurricane. The sad part is that it was not until I finished the whole thread before I remembered that it's a football game and there are gonna like be people losing their life and all their belongings in this storm. As a man from La., I've seen hurricane devastation and it's horrific aftermath that can last for years. I hope the game is played but we should all pray for safety/protection for all the folks that will take a direct hit from this storm.

The main thing people tend to forget about hurricanes - it turns into really nice weather after they roll through. All the clouds get sucked into the storm and none are left once it’s gone.

He’s not saying the hurricane is going to hit Auburn you morons. A decision will have to be made days in advance and at if that point of the western FL panhandle is in play then the state of Alabama has to prepare emergency crews, evacuations etc. This will take precedence over staffing a football game.
Just because the eye isn’t going to pass over Jordan-Hare, there is still a chance the game is affected.

“0% chance there is going to be a football game…”

does not equal,

“there is still a chance the game will be affected”, “moron”

Somebody failed high school geography. Auburn is in Alabama, not Georgia.

That graph shows storm effects hitting 2 am Saturday. Game is 16 hours later. Aubrun better not pull a Florida move on us.

You are 100% correct but you do realize the decisions will be made by late Wed or early Thurs.
