If Turner was going to be our #1 anyway (probably), this was a massive waste

We didn't evaluate anybody who's trying to push for the team, Sargent got a few minutes and maybe 3 touches

All we did was risk injury

Cannon gave up the inside way to easily there

And Zimmerman refused to step. Tactically masterful.

I’m always impressed with the level of class and respect Japan plays with. Well deserved, we have some serious shite to work on

It’s not like Japan is some complete scrub squad historically.

Looked like the absolute worst of Berhalter. Trying to play an intricate possession game without the tactics or personnel to do so.

Not a great time for him/team to revert to the worst of what his tenure can look like.

Waste of time. Japan just took us out back and whipped us.

What a pointless game for the USA. Instead of building consistency in the team we play sam fricking vines.

Gregg is going to waste these games isn't he?

The only silver lining of us getting bounced in the group stage is that greggggg will also get bounced, and we won’t have to worry about him being in charge when these players enter their prime.

This was our 5th game this year without a goal. His system is built to score 5 goals against a CONCACAF minnow, but when weve played a team with a pulse (outside of Morocco) we haven't scored a goal.

And our most in form goal scorer isn't here because of said system.

We were missing some players but shiiiiiiiit

Weston has been real bad with Juventus save the CL goal (I've watched every minute) and he's brought that form to the nats.

The US has to out-talent the other team as Gregg is lacking to say the least. That's the nicest thing I can say.

I think I lost faith in Zimmerman completely today. He's great in the air but his passing is going to give up at least one goal. I wish we had a defender that is captaining a premier league team that we could've brought in for a "look"

Twellman voicing all of our concerns re center backs, striker(s), and pointing out Turner is the #1. Hopefully it gets traction and some worm finds its way into Gregg's ear.

Honestly we shouldn’t be relying on Zimmerman to progress the ball like he’s fricking prime Gerard Pique passing into incredibly tight lanes in an overcrowded midfield. That’s on Berhalter.

Unless Berhalter didn’t care about the result and just wanted to see how everyone would do, but this game should’ve been long balls in behind down the wings all day repeatedly. By pass the midfield and get it straight to the front line.

But tactically and personnel wise berhalter never seems to consider that as an option.

GGG—Getting Ground out of the Group!

Just finished. Ouch.

I am trying to lean on this being a warm up game and the team took it as practice, but I don’t like it. We have too many deficiencies to think this team can just turn it on at will.
