Dr. offices are the only places that should always require a mask. You may have an earache and I may have some nasty arse stomach bug; you won't want what I have at that point.

We have to in the waiting room but are good once we go back to the examination room. My doc himself still wears his mask, but he also has an autoimmune disorder.

Doctor’s offices are the one place it doesn’t bother me to wear one honestly. Especially during flu season if I’m seeing my GP but not for the flu.

My wife's coworker has had a cough the last week and she called employee health to come in and get checked, mind you she is at work at a hospital, and employee health said she needed a negative covid test before coming in lol

I don’t know. Wearing a mask in an area where sick are sharing a space seems like a good idea in general. Regardless of covid. crazy I know

I haven't been to a doctor's office in nearly 2 years. I have been inside a couple ERs and dentist offices recently. No masks required.

Seems smart to wear a mask in a waiting room regardless of covid. People in their have all sorts of viruses.

I am in and out of clinics all the time for work...some do and some don't. I'd say right now that almost every Hematology / Oncology office I go to has that requirement, alot of OBGYNs, come cardiologists and a couple p=in primary care. I just chose to not go into those clinics.

Last time I went the overweight receptionist told me I had to wear a mask... then my Dr. told I could take it off and that it wasn't necessary

I had surgery June 29th, 4 days in recovery, not one nurse or doctor wore mask.

Nope. I’d consider going elsewhere if he did at this point.

My primary care doc that prescribes my testosterone thankfully doesn’t.

That’s really freaking stupid though. Of course though, the cdc could announce that it magically vanished and there is no need of a mask and someone is gonna say, well you know covid is still around unfortunately

I feel like masks in a hospital will be a thing here now like in Asia.

Our family physician is still requiring masks in his clinic; which isn't inside of a hospital.

I know...it's crazy. There is a local surgeon around here that insists on him, and all surgical staff wear masks when performing surgery. Why would you do that? I've heard rumors that he makes them wash their hands, too (but I can't confirm).

I took my mom to the doctor and he has a poster up on the wall for the covid vaccine that says get the vaccine to stop the spread and protect loved ones.

These are medical experts and totally not a religion.

My PCP only requires them, if you're sick and you must sick on the sick side of the office.
