DFW is Tom Thumb Territory. At least it was when I lived there.
Posted on 9/20/22 at 6:54 pm to mikelbr
I always thought Tom Thumb was a convenience store.

This is a really bad timing for your post. H.E.B. is about to take over DFW.

all the open ones you listed arent in Dallas or Ft Worth
Posted on 9/20/22 at 7:02 pm to OWLFAN86
Yes, because when people refer to DFW they only mean Dallas and Fort Worth, nobody has ever used that term to refer to the metro area

I think those are different company. Not Positive.
I know When I moved to North Dallas area in 1999, we fell in love with them grocery stores all over Dallas.
They almost all had a Wells Fargo Banks in them(my bank at the time) with really friendly folks, good selection/prices, and great customer service.
It's much like HEB.

They were being very particular when it came to opening. That said, they’ve bought a shite TON of land in the DFW to prepare for expansion.

We have Central Market in Dallas proper.. Same company but a bit more upscale
Posted on 9/20/22 at 7:18 pm to yaboidarrell
Wish we had HEB up here in OK they are great stores.
Posted on 9/20/22 at 7:20 pm to yaboidarrell
Central Market is a high-end version of HEB, no?
