If one of them catches a mesovort or two there could be glass flying.

Anyone have a good site for live traffic cams or traffic info for Florida turnpike or I-75?

Florida DOTD Traffic Camera Map

Pretty amazing that Florida has a camera at almost every mile of interstate.

Louisiana should take some notes.

Too much money going in politicians pockets to waste money on cameras.

Only cameras we get are red light cameras.

Gf works at Disney and they still haven’t said anything about shutting down or evacuating

They don’t announce park closures until warnings are issued. They will 100% be closing at some point once the warnings go out, but gotta get that last minute $$$. This storm is looking to be much closer than the last 2 times they closed for a Hurricane (Irma closed for 2 days and Dorian closed for one day despite not even making a Florida landfall).

For visitors, unless you like being stuck in your hotel room for several days with not much to do as a trade off for 1-2 days of shorter lines, it’s best to reschedule. Flights out will be hard to come by, and people who are there already and really need to get home don’t need to be competing for a seat out of town.

Those traffic cameras showing I-75 North bound above the Tampa area show alot of people on the road getting out early.

Until yesterday I had no Idea how bad Tampa could be fricked up by one of these storms, this is shaping up to be their doomsday scenario if it holds

This is Tampa’s Katrina scenario. Pretty amazing I-4 to Orlando is mostly light traffic right now. Proof that these people have no idea what’s coming. frick around and find out.

my wife has alot of friends in the tampa area and we go down there several times a year to visit going to suck if that storm surge is 8-10 feet and pushing that water way up inland. Beautiful area is going to wrecked in the next few days if things don't change

There was a reason it was closed 8 times and this has a better than average chance of being #9! Good luck on the trip!

I would definitely advise going east toward the Atlantic but looks like some bad weather is already heading that way especially in the southern part of Florida.

This is DeSantis' big chance. How he responds to this will make or break his presidential ambitions.
