It’s amazing that an independent reporter has to actually report the news.

The fricking sad that the actual main newspaper won’t do it because they are afraid of Broome and the chief.

I know right. Hence, the “I’m confused” and the question I posed to get clarification.

Zero chance it was 90 degrees at 2 am. Maybe 65?

Your takes on this are always fascinating

They were both black males, I would say mid 20’s and both of them were around 5’10 or 5’11,” said the witness.

It’s really not. It only seems odd now, knowing the results of what happened. As he stated, he thought Allison’s vehicle was turning around just as he was to drive away. He realized in the morning when he heard the news that it was the vehicle he saw.

Maybe the train started moving again right before the shooting.

Yeah, that train stops for long periods of time, moves a bit, stops again, etc.

Big reason I never sit there and wait for it. It will stop for 15+ minutes and then move a few hundred feet and stop again - still blocking the road. I guess they do some sort of loading/unloading thing with the trains over there.

No, even the initial media reports had it wrong, saying she was eastbound rather than westbound. And the initial media photos were looking down Govt St eastbound.

So two black guys in hoodies walk past you at a stopped train at 2am and shortly after you hear multiple gun shots close to you and you don't think anything of it? It doesn't cross your mind to maybe alert the police?

I've alerted the police for way less.

witness said the train was at a dead standstill and the perps 'hopped through between the cars' to the side of the road she was stopped on.

Yes we’re assuming the train had just started back moving because you can hear it moving slowly on the audio.

They’re not afraid of them, they are employed by them. Even that bitch Nakamoto doesn’t touch city corruption.

That guy is such a useless individual who built up a rep as some hard hitting journalist by chasing stories about nothing.

The guy said he used to live off government street and hear gun shots often. He just wanted to get away.

I’m not about to overanalyze the only credible witness here and what he should or should not have done in the moment and make him a suspect.

Correct but the witness even mentioned he thought they were suspicious.

Since we’re going off of the witness statement in the op and not initial media reports I guess what you just said was pointless

Can you not potentially jump over the couplings of a very slow moving train?

Probably would be an 11/10 on the difficult and “this is suicide!” scales, but would it not be possible?

On top of that, he was on the wrong side of the train from the shooting and couldn’t see what happened.

Would YOU get out and check the scene of a potential live shooting under those circumstances?
