No one.

UHigh and Catholic play harder schedules this year.

Unfortunately, we are getting to a point where 90% of schools refuse to play the top programs in the state so the top programs all end up playing each other.

so now they want to call a meeting on this...

they need 50% of principals to force a meeting... they won't get that as only a small group of schools are unhappy they're in Select. Nonselect schools won't agree to a meeting, as are also schools that will always be Select

Either way they'll meet again in January so just suck it up for one football season. For a lot of these teams, them being in Select or Nonselect won't make a measurable impact on their chances to win a state championship

The principals are the reason we have this mess to start with.

But I will say changing the interpretation of select should require a membership vote, not just exec.

Catholic just added Carver out of Montgomery AL. I assume they are pretty good. Playing at Mumford on Oct 7.

That article is littered with factual errors.

Regardless of the substance of the issue, the LHSAA put schools on notice back in April that this issue was coming to a head and zero principals showed up the June meeting to have their voices heard.

There are a lot of problems with the LHSAA but a major issue is that the vast majority of principals and ADs across the state have no understanding the Constitution and bylaws and don’t pay any attention what happens throughout the year … then they scream “unfair” when changes occur.

By the way…

Last night, Booker T Washington NOLA 48, Ehret 42 and that was with a 0-0 4th quarter.

Arnold Barnes had 6 (!!!) total touchdowns for BTW

THIS and.. EACH principal acts soley on the parochial interest of their school as they should. The LHSAA and the EC should act on the interests of the association as a whole. With this recent action they got it right.

Behind the scenes nearly all traditional non selects were on the warpath with open enrollment and charter schools.

Goes by "Duda" and is a Tulane commit.

Mandeville lost to Walker on a series of gaffes, including four missed XP, a blocked kick returned for a TD and giving up a 56 yard TD on the last play of the first half.

Question… are there really coaches that want a complete split for the regular season, no select and nonselect even playing each other?

I’d love one to come explain to our team why we shouldn’t be able to play Holy Cross or anyone in our district now

West Monroe had their JV playing in the 2nd quarter with around 9min left. They were already up 35-0. This team from Tenn has 2 coaches and 22 players. Apparently WM had to fill last week and thins week bc John Curtis and Catholic backed out on them last min.

Well tell your “sauces” aka the voice inside your head that they’re full of shite.

Coach Brew is a proud CHS alum (I graduated with him) and he has a healthy relationship with Catholic. JP Kelly graduated in the same class. If there was an issue, it would have been brought up and JP would have been criticized face to face by Brew.

And like somebody else brought up, Catholic has an excellent record vs Zachary in the last 5-6 years. Why the frick would they “be scared”? Come on man, you’re better than that.
