Gotta respect that. Some select 5A teams in BR wouldn’t schedule Zachary but the all BR district changed things up.

That, and I think they're just spread more thin on the football field than in the past. They've historically been a non-factor in other sports, but they're getting baseball and basketball specific athletes now. Naturally, that dilutes football. They're a threat in all 3 sports now.

I don’t know if this is supposed to be a shot at Catholic but they are 3-0 against Zachary since 2016. It will be settled at the end of the year now though.

the private school demographic is rapidly shrinking in NOLA. Also now week in and week out they are facing equal "resources".

That statement is like when J.T. had programs winning state in 4A yet they didn’t want to go to 5A because they “couldn’t compete”

Pretty sure they’ve got a bunch of baseball titles and at least one in basketball, not to mention the girls sports are dominant

Who? Bishop Sullivan?

Catholic and Zachary have played 3 out of the last 5 years, all Catholic wins

Also, I would say over the last 5 years Catholic has had the most aggressive scheduling in the entire state. They have scheduled the following teams

Zachary-multiple times
Acadiana-multiple times
West Monroe
U high-multiple times
STM- multiple times
Karr-multiple times
Warren Easton-multiple times

Seriously are you drunk?

Lol

Last year Catholic did this in consecutive weeks to start the year

Maryland 5a state champs at Maryland
Acadiana
At West Monroe
Warren Easton
At LAFAYETTE Christian

please, jesuits schedule is child’s play compared to that

These class rankings are now utterly useless with how we are doing playoffs.

Media needs to start tanking by playoff divisions

Was the 62-7 win against Parkview in the Vacated title year? Or one of the other non vacated title years?

That Catholic team last year was the best team LCA has seen in the last 5 years I would say.

LCA has not played Zachary in the regular season, however. Played a jambore in 2021 and a scrimmage in this year. Both were much closer than the LCA/Catholic-BR game was though the scrimmage was shortened due to lightning.

Both teams are very good though.

Ok so please backup your statement of Catholic ducking Zachary, a team they are 3-0 agaisnt in the last 5 years?

Also, a team in Catholic that has scheduled Acadiana, karr, west Monroe, LCA, etc….

Why do public schools people have made up chips on their shoulder perpetually?

That's the class they take instead of religion class.

Field turf installation delayed by weather and a little St. Tammany good ol' boy dealing and palm greasing.
