Cringey moment of the week right here.
Yesterday, at my great grandmother’s funeral, my cousin decided instead of a eulogy she’d make a speech to repeatedly tell everyone how many bad decisions she’s made and how she finally decided to put her GED to use by going back to school. She’s going on and on about how at 40 she finally decided as a single mom of 4 to make something of herself.
So, I’m thinking, wow, she’s in nursing school or something with decent pay and potential. Nope, massage therapy school at a strip mall. I wanted to die of embarrassment. She killed the mood and ended anyone else wanting to do a eulogy.

frick, I dont know where to begin..
Probably treating people like shite because I was in a touring goth-metal band back in the 90s. I drank a lot back then too, at least a 1.5L bottle of merlot or Cabernet a day. So it got cringy fast.

My mom wouldn't buy me Jams shorts so she had her aunt sew me a pair. frick, I hated those things.
When we could first drive, my friends went to see a friend of ours cheer for her redneck high school. We ate at a Hooters first. I ordered my wings from the waitresses rack. At the game, I spent the whole time making comments about the haircuts of all the guys that went to school there. I was completely oblivious to the looks I was getting. Thinking back on on it, I'm lucky I didn't get my arse kicked.

Pursued the wrong girls and absent-mindedly treated the ones that liked me like crap. In the long run, missed out on a lot of opportunities.

I was in 9th grade class. I was bored to death and the teacher was asking the class questions at the end of the period and I knew every correct answer. This idiot was sitting next to me. So for fun I would whisper him the answer and he would say it and get it right. I had him a nice string of 4 right answers in a row. So for the next question I tell him the most off wall answer I can think of “George Washington invented Pizza.” Sure enough this idiot raises his hand and says this out loud to the entire class. The teacher paused and then everyone erupted in laughter. The guy’s face turned bright red and he was looking at me in disbelief. I still cringe that I did that.

I wrote a note to a girl I was in the friend zone with. We got along so well that I thought why not take a shot. Of course she shot me down. That wasn't such a big deal but I'm now married to her sister.

5th or 6th grade had those cargo pants that would zip at the knee to become shorts. Wore one pant leg on and one off at a football game thinking it was cool and edgy
