re: Money board question - best way to get $50,000 - $75,000 to remodel house?
Posted by Bobbi12 on 9/14/24 at 6:37 am to DarthRebel
Just wrapping up a whole home remodel, I did all the work myself besides Sheetrock. I’m in about 50k now, but I bought all my appliances/sinks/toilets/ect from Facebook market place, got a killer deal on my cabinets. I hope y’all are okay with living in a remodel, it is not fun by any means (can’t stress this enough). Pick up the tools & get on YouTube, you can figure it out.

Best butcher in Madison Wisconsin

Looking to pick up some good filets or steaks tomorrow in Madison WI. Really looking for prime beef.
Huge money in LNG. I’ve built a few LNG facilities and rumor has it they are paid for in the first few months they start operating.

Industrial - most of my background is midstream, now I’m getting in to the downstream chemical side. Speciality welding, pipe valves fittings, structural steel, civil work. While I was doing the midstream side of it they were all green field projects, now I’m mostly focusing on turnarounds. I’ve always wanted to go out on my own in construction.
BLM, could we chat more in depth? I have been wanting to go out on my own in construction and I am unsure what the best foot forward would be.
re: Speaking of places to move/retire, somebody talk to me about Loveland/Fort Collins, CO.
Posted by Bobbi12 on 9/7/21 at 8:46 pm to bourbon_n_such
What bars or restaurants you frequent in downtown?
I lived in Loveland for 2 years, now I’m in Houston… I think about selling everything and moving back to down town Loveland at least 3 times every hour. Idk what it is about that town. Also I’ll say this as well Fort Collins vibe never did it for me, I liked going out in Loveland much more.
Stop being a soy and fix it yourself.
Also never moving back to BR frick that place, couldn’t get out fast enough after LSU.

Left Baton Rouge to go chase oil & gas, was all over Colorado, Wyoming, Montana, North Dakota. Got tired of being on the road moved to Texas - now I miss being on the road and all the friends I made along the way. Probably will go back to that life sooner than later.
I’ve seen some on the ROW that make that rig look like shite.
Since no one else said it:
PRO BOIL SUCKS BIG SWEATY BALLS..
Also you do not need all varieties of onions or the “diced onions”, no oil, or beer that’s just silly but I like to add one stick of unsalted butter while mine soak.
