What’s up with grown women wanting to always visit Build A Bear?

I get that Build A Bear could be a fun thing for kids to do. They can go build and design a stuffed bear but what’s up with grown women wanting to build their own bear, name the bear and take pics of their bear for their social media accounts?
I live by a mall so I’m there a lot. The mall has a build a bear at the main entrance and every time I walk by the place there are always grown women (no kids around) getting pics made with the bear they just made.
I just find this fad a little odd for grown Karens wanting to show off their new bears they made and post it to their social medias

What’s you’re witnessing is the infantilism that has infected the young’s “adults” of today. A prime example is the trend of them posting to social media what in past times were normal adult activities the hashtag “adulting”. It’s quite pathetic and emblematic of how far the rot has progressed in our society.

I’ve been to build a bear a lot over the years, thanks to kids. I’ve never once noticed an adult alone in there, obviously getting a bear for themselves like you’re describing. You may just live near weirdos.
