So Jayden was statistically the best quarterback in all of CFB in week 1. Granted, a lot of the EPA that he generated was from his legs, but it's still impressive for him to be on top. Also, this should help show that Jayden isn't the problem. Hopefully he can continue to build on this throughout the season and get even better with his arm.

I get being critical of him, but good lord he’s the last person that should be blamed for the loss.

Jayden is the problem since he couldn't get anyone else involved until the end of the game. It is like your point guard finishing with 40 points and 2 assists.

Let's Go Jayden.

I don't buy into the typical 'bulletin board material' but when the whole country is making fun of every aspect of the LSU Football program it's impossible to ignore/go dark/block out.
The ESPN Talkshow idiots, Regional twats like Paul Finebaum, popular idiots on Social Meida are all having a laugh, cracking jokes and sharing clever memes about LSU Football and Brian Kelly.

Somebody's gonna be favored against this Tiger team and get soundly punched in the mouth during an arse-kicking these young men are capable of delivering.

Not hating on JD, but to use this to claim him as the best statistically quarterback is comical.

There shouldn't be Jayden haters or Jayden worshipers for that matter at this point. He had some moments of poor play and some strong moments. Him managing a 99 yard drive in under a minute that should have tied the game is impressive. Not every QB can do that without forcing the ball somewhere he shouldn't or make some kind of pressure filled mistake. Let it play out. Let the o-line and receivers try to find some rhythm in a tune up game next week and let's see where were at in 2 weeks against State.

Lowest explosive play rate

Consider the 0 INTs.. either OC severely handcuffed him or he’s not comfortable yet. I lean the former.

A much more honest assessment would be that he played an average game.
What he did well - pick up yards with his legs, lead what could have been a game winning drive under pressure, made three great throws (2 to Boutte that were dropped and 1 to Jenkins)
What he did poorly - make one read and run (except pass to Jenkins where the game was on the line), no pocket awareness, throws to the runnings backs need more touch, doesn’t throw with anticipation or recognize the blitz pre-snap

He’s a solid QB and by now means was he the problem Sunday night. He just didn’t do enough to win. Our only real advantage is at WR so we have to get these players involved early. Yes Boutte dropped a TD pass but Jayden also missed wide open receivers because he doesn’t get past his first read an panics quickly. If he could learn pocket awareness and keep his eyes down the field when he scrambles then he could be dangerous. Just not sure if that will happen this year. No one hates Jayden though. That’s just dumb.

Ok now show it without the last 2 drives where fsu was in prevent and just giving up 10 yards.

Who hates the guy? I think he competed extremely well. He needs to develop further, get rid of the ball sooner, etc.

The people wanting to see Nuss will likely get their wish at some point as I don’t see Daniels being able to navigate SEC water unscathed if he is still running this much in a few weeks.

I thought Daniels played pretty well. There's definitely room for improvement, but it's hard to see how that loss was his fault, except in the broader sense that all losses are team losses and he is a key member of the team.

Personally, I think he'll be just fine, and we will get a better product on the field this weekend. I sure hope so, bc Sunday night was really rough.

They have 3 total TD’s for Jayden but he threw 2 TD’s and had no rushing TD’s. Only other TD for LSU came from Cain.

How much does removing 1 TD change his total EPA?
