Need some destination ideas for eloping

Will likely have a very small gathering so it will be more than just the two of us but not a traditional wedding either. Like no more than 10 people. I’m hoping to come up with a few unique ideas. Willing to travel but not out of the country or anything like that since a few others will be there too

Italy
Edit: nevermind, I missed the part about not wanting to go out of the country.

Why don’t you just get married at the Justice of the peace in your town and invite folks to witness it. Then you two go on a trip. Eloping with a small cadre of people isn’t eloping, it’s a destination wedding.

Breckinridge, Vail, or Red Rocks in Colorado would be cool.
The views I had on my travel through the Grand Canyon, Arches, and Zion National Park were amazing as well and might could be fun views for a wedding.

Just run to Woodville, Mississippi like people did in the old days.

Where are most people coming from?
What do most people like to do? What do you guys want to do?
It always irked me when someone invited me to a "beach vacation" wedding getaway and I live in Destin. Its not exactly exciting for me. Its not my choice I get it, just saying.
Given that, why would you not just elope somewhere you and the bride want to go on vacation anyway?

If this were Family Fued, this should be four of top five. Good list.

You didn't say when. Some of these ideas are better for summer, and some are better for winter.

Depending on the time of year… Joshua Tree or the PNW. Coastal Oregon like Pacific City or Cannon Beach or Olympic Peninsula Beach in Washington.

If you want to be cliche either go to Vegas or Gatlinburg.
Do you want to get married in a church? If so, look into The Chapel of the Transfiguration inside Grand Teton National Park or St Stephen's Mission on the Wind River Reservation in Wyoming for a couple of really unique locations.

If you both enjoy wine do it at a nice winery in California or the Northeast
