I’ll try to throw out an idea that hasn’t been mentioned yet…

The current students invite the trash into their own backyard. Delivery services are available for everything it seems. In my day…you could get pizza or Chinese delivered, now it’s all through apps. Add Uber (not necessarily eats) to the list. These students will always opt for convenience, and in doing so, are inviting damn near anybody to campus and their dorm. Any criminal with a brain will use this to their advantage. Nobody will question some random person on campus it seems.

Add in the fact that these students are woke, and have somehow been trained to believe that a stereotypical BR thug is going to be their friend.

Think of how girls on campus were when DTL was raping and murdering. Now, it’s the opposite.

We need common sense law enforcement. If you hold someone at gunpoint, knife point, car jack, or rape or attempt to rape you should be executed immediately and your entire family forced to stand there and watch. Then leave your corpse on a pole in town square until the buzzards eat it.

Amen. Would put an end to this quickly. The stupid libtards who are the most vulnerable would of course be the ones against this. I fricking hate democrats

The whole city is a battlefield after dark. LSU is not a fortress.

I think a prison record is required for this gig.

This is the trickle-down effect of soft policing and emptying the jails.

More thugs on the street with no fear of repercussions. You also have naive college students, but they shouldn't have to worry about it.

Facebook post. Got played

“The non-LSU kid that shot the LSU student was known to that group of students bc he'd been attending all of the Spirit Week LSU activities. He asked to charge his phone in their car....sat around with them until his phone was charged...then pulled a gun on the kid in the driver's seat and demanded he empty his pockets. Kids in the back seat bailed...Kid in front seat wrestled for the gun and got shot in the butt and is thankfully okay. “

Attempted? I wonder why the media is motivated to minimalize a kidnapping?

I love LSU but sadly I'll probably encourage our youngest to go elsewhere for college. I don't want my then 18 yr old daughter living on her own for the fist time in Baton Rouge.

If I still lived in LA and needed to send a kid to college in LA I would probably send them up to Ruston at La Tech

I’ll take a wild guess he was wearing jeans, a white shirt, was between 5’10” and 6’2”, with a dark complexion.

Why would you kidnap someone and just let them go. Seems other crimes are not being reported with the kid napping

I was told that the R A of Acadian witnessed what was happening and grabbed the student away from the DoorDash driver and they both ran into Acadian and locked the doors and called police.

LSU campus is a concentrated, captive well of potential victims surrounded by a ghetto.

[ If LSU doesnt start buying everything on Highland road from State Street to downtown, the thugs will continue stealing absolutely everyone of those preppy college kids phones, wallets, iPads and anything else they can find in their cars, which are parked in the dorm/apartment parking lots, a couple hundred feet from the hood. ]

This is the only recourse. Alumni should start a fund to buy up as much as possible and level that cess pool. It’s really the only way.

The Bottom has been there for decades. What we are seeing now is what happens when the PC crowd takes over. It’s unprecedented.

First Jon Bel’s prison reform emptied the jails. Then Broome was elected and she went hard left using the Sterling thing as cover. She ran off a decent police chief, undercut the rank and file, and even outed informants.

The results are what we see today; robberies, rapes and murders. Multiple offenders released on bail. Law and order is a tv show, it’s not something these people care much about.

Preach brother, preach. Every word of that sermon is spot on.
