Woman savagely raped in Forrest Park. Employees told to not discuss it with park users

An unsubstantiated story is circulating recently that a woman using Forest Park to walk on the concrete paths near the woods, by the dog park, was drug into the woods and brutally raped. She stumbled full of blood to one of the buildings and collapsed. This was told to me directly by more than one person who works for BREC. These employees have been disturbed by the fact that they were directly instructed not to tell, though more than one feel responsible enough to the tax payers using the park to inform women walking alone that they think this is a homeless man in the woods adjacent to the park, and he has not been caught. A Google search on this crime revealed absolutely nothing about this. It seems like a cover up through all Baton Rouge run organizations from BREC, to the police, and the Mayor. This was black on black crime.. Could that be the hush factor?? Regardless, if you love somebody who uses Forest Park to exercise alone, tell them to stay on the busy streets and not to use any path close to wooded areas, or to bring a weapon.
BR has turned into an insane asylum/prison without walls. If they are gonna cover crimes up we need to protect each other.

Another homeless huh? Sorry to generalize, but these people are a scourge on our city.

Is it possible to unsavagely rape someone?

Hey Nakamoto. We know you're reading this and you won't do a goddamn thing about it, you little pussy.

We do nothing to detract these transients.
I work in cities and states all over but no one has as many begging for money at street lights as Baton Rouge. The worst part is: locals give their aftertax money to bums on the street that are not from here. Some of them who steal from our community and apparently rape our women.
Don’t give them money! It is like an invitation to live under our bridges. Maybe the city can use this rape as a catalyst to start getting rid of these transients.

There is clearly a major effort by some or all of our government/media to not report a lot of crime in our area. Places like Lincoln Nebraska have daily crime reporting in their website. It really is very wrong to not inform the public

Or the city attorneys know there is an incoming lawsuit and don't want everybody in the world making comments they will have to deal with later just like every other entity on earth would.

Sounds like a story for Kiran.
Underreported crime will be a major issue for the next 10 years. Whether it is deliberate, or the unintended consequence of 911 no longer responding to crimes of certain levels, our statistics in this country will soon be meaningless.
And the progressives will love this and the politicians will say they’ve brought crime down.

The woods don’t seem to cover a lot of area. This seems like a pretty easy to find assailant. Citizens routinely help search for missing people. Citizens can surely find a homeless guy who lives in the woods. Citizens can also defend themselves if the homeless guy gets aggressive. This seems to be a problem that can be resolved this weekend.

Whether this is all true, partially true or just a rumor, it remains a fact that BREC continuously drops the ball on park security. It takes an act of god to have security lighting and cameras put in some parking lots. Their security apparatus is based on a Some fictional BR where half the pop isn’t thug city. There’s never enough physical security presence and what they do have (basically retired fry cooks) likely isn’t going to do you any good.
And BREC is (or was before sneakily sending $40 million to the zoo park) sitting on a virtual fortune of our tax dollars.

If someone were squatting out there, it would be where the old dog park road meets Sessions Dr. There’s a trail to head East into the woods and a creek not too far back with a clearing nearby (can’t really see it on a map)
That’s where we did bad thing as bad youths.

Wife and I know the victim well. It was white on white crime actually. If anyone can push the police or BREC to acknowledge it, get the word out so people can protect themselves, the victim and her family/friends would greatly appreciate it.

I'm not surprised. I know that the La State park dept is run by a bunch of lazy inbred fricks.

I hate it and hope they fry the scumbag, but I wish women understood that when they are alone in a semi-isolated environment, they are considered targets by scumbags.
I leave for work at daybreak and often there is an attractive young lady wearing hardly any clothes out running. There are no other cars or people around, it would be so easy for a sicko to throw her in a van and take her to God knows where.
I realize I'll get hate because women have the right to go where and when they want and shouldn't have to worry about creeps.

BREC hired a glass-eyed freak who used to give us the creeps during Day Camp summer of '95.
In October or so of 96 or 97, a young boy was molested at a mall in Lafayette. The sketch artist's likeness was unmistakable. That same day, 2 of the other counselors I had worked with at Farr Park that summer called me and said, "Did you see the fricking Advocate?"
I called Laffy PD and talked to the detective handling the case.
...None of us ever heard the resolution of that case or saw ziltch in the paper.

quote:Turning this into an issue would lose the current administration about 30% of its votes since the vast majority of the criminals are black men. They will be seen as "snitches" or "tryin' to ack white."
This was black on black crime.. Could that be the hush factor
