For reference, the Twins have the 4th most bonus pool money of $14.3MM but drafted like it in the first 10 rounds nabbing HS players with 4 of their first 6 picks, and only 1 of their first 11 picks being a college player with no more eligibility.

Don't know what Larson's number may be, but looking at who the Twins have taken it'd be hard to imagine they could scrape together much to throw at him. 4 of their top 10 are highly thought of high school guys, including Walker Jenkins who will probably want at least slot value.

The Cardinals don't really have an extensive history of banking money for end of the draft flyers. I think we're safe there.

STL has the 4th least bonus pool money of $6.3MM (no 2nd round or comp picks). Interestingly, they drafted exclusively college players in first 10 rounds, all juniors (7) and seniors (2). Guess they want to give themselves a chance to give it a whirl.

Pretty good draft. Think the MLB teams like LSU as their feeder school and prefer kids come here and get developed. Probably offer better development than most minors.

The juco route is what’s most scary, I have a hard time seeing him just sign for relative pennies this year
