Latest mocks don't think as highly of Alt as you do. Bucky Brooks of NFL.com has Alt going 10, Fashanu 7. Chris Trapasso of cbssports.com has Alt going 14 to the saints, Fashanu at 7. Mel Kiper's most recent mock on ESPN has Alt at 7 and Fashanu at 10. I think given the uncertainty on the line, one ...
Agreed. Love how when Harris put his head down and tried to walk away, coach was quick to grab him and keep the conversation going. Really good job by him, in the moment, to not let his player get too down on himself....
Twins have agreed to a deal with Walker Jenkins. MLB.com is reporting his signing bonus is $7,144,200 which puts them at the exact total of $14,345,600 they were allocated in their bonus pool. Makes me feel as though they have zero interest in going over that number and paying the tax....
Looks like Spotrac may have a different bonus than mlb.com is reporting for the 10th rounder for Cleveland. Mlb.com is showing $110,000 as compared to spotrac showing $165,300, that difference puts the Guardians right at 5% over their alloted bonus pool. Only 2 late round high school guys are unsign...
I don't see the Twins getting a discount on Jenkins. Going into the draft all the experts said there was a clear top 5, I would expect Jenkins to want money close to those other 4 guys (Clark got 7.7 and Langford 8) so I would think his ask is at least in the 7.4-7.5 area. Seems like we need to keep...
The Twins went well over slot on their 3rd round pick. Still have 5 top 10 round guys to sign, including each of their first 3 picks. 2 of those 3 are high school guys and the slot values should soak up most of their remaining bonus pool. Looking good for Ashton Larson to make it to campus as well....
Wasn't sure about the timeline of his surgery. That's why I said potentially, although I do expect him to pitch at some point next season....
From what I've been able to find, it's just a straight 40 with no delineation for COVID year guys.
With the addition of Bingham, quick count has us at 46 for the moment. I know Shores, Lape, and potentially Noot will miss the coming season. Any other guys we know of dealing with ...
im still in utter shock that as of now....looks like all but mitchel will make it to campus. Didnt think in a million years Cam would make it, and even slimmer all three lefties would make it....but looks that way as of now.
Hopefully next year is a surprise as well, but I would ex...
He's just counting down the minutes until someone else breaks portal news, so he can "confirm" and announce it himself....
Don't know what Larson's number may be, but looking at who the Twins have taken it'd be hard to imagine they could scrape together much to throw at him. 4 of their top 10 are highly thought of high school guys, including Walker Jenkins who will probably want at least slot value....

Perfect Game lists LaSalle as the number 1 outfielder in Louisiana. Will be interesting to see if he signs with KC....
Think Ruddell or Paul will get a long, long look out there. Jay is also very high on Frey as a RF. At this point, I think the answer in right is already on the roster and not in the portal. Now maybe Frey plays right and there is a DH/1B in the portal to give you some wiggle room with Jones. ...
Way, way too early to tell but just for fun... 1. Pearson (L)- LF 2. Kling (R)- CF 3. White (R)- 3B 4. Neal (L)- C 5. Jones (R)- 1B 6. Reaves (L)- 2B 7. Frey (R)- DH 8. Ruddell (L)- RF 9. Guidry (R)- SS SP - Hurd, Loer, and one of Burns/Holman (just a feeling one of the two ends up a Ti...
I don't disagree completely that his stuff would look better against lesser competition. But he's already shown he can be dominant against the SEC (and in the CWS) at times. A lateral SEC move into a guaranteed starting role, whether LSU or not, just seems to make more sense....
Justin Loer is listed at 6'5" and Kade Woods at 6'3". Not to mention Skenes, Hurd, Noot, Money, Appleby, Edwards, and Little are all listed at 6'4" or taller....
Love the potential of Tanner Reaves from an offensive perspective. Good looking swing from the left side and hard to beat an average over .400 with 45 XBH, 86 RBI, and a .500 OBP. Defensively he needs some work though....

Poor positioning by the home plate ump, blocked himself out of the play being behind the catcher like he was...
