A black bean burger with guac and salsa/pico is a very good sandwich.

BIGSPICY PANEER WRAP
Exquisitely picked, soft and tender paneer overwhelmed with a fiery, crunchy batter and dressed with fresh veggies & seasonings. Generously topped with creamy sauce and a dash of mustard & melted cheese that will surprise your tastes buds each time you sink your teeth into it.
They should bring this here.

I remember when, before their lawsuit, McDonalds fries were the GOAT from being cooked in real beef tallow.
Vegans and vegetarians ruined it for everybody. McDonalds fries are now like the "new coke". Good, but not nearly as good as before.
McDonald's changed from tallow to shitty oils not because of lawsuits or vegans but because of misguided anti-cholesterol crusaders. Specifically Phil Sokolof, drywall magnate, who started a public campaign after having a heart attack.
Ironically the shitty oils are far worse for health than the tallow ever was.

Burger King slipped in fake meat and we were mad at our kid for not eating his food. Then we tried and it tasted like poison.
It’s funny you said that, I just got back from getting lunch. I went to BK first because I have been craving a whooper while I have been boycotting them for selling this shite. Anyway, while in line all I could think of was what if they tried this shite with me. I left and went to Wendy’s instead

Anybody who thinks they taste comparable or better than real beef is lying or a vegan who hasn’t had beef in years.
There’s no substitute and they will have better luck with lab grown beef. Although the only way that succeeds is if people aren’t told it’s in their meal.

Well, looks like we won't eat insects voluntarily so the only reasonable alternate is for the Govt of the USA to FORCE us to eat insects by compulsion of law.

GMO doesn’t hurt anyone I don’t get the hate for it. I get antibiotics and hormones, but a GMO is literally just a plant with favorable genes spliced into it from another plant to make the crop more resistant to pests, need less water or fertilizer, or grow faster. Without GMOs, there would be mass starvation

A lot of those are loaded with soy and vegetable oils, etc.

So you ordered it not even knowing what it was?
My son almost did this last week. He is not a fan of fast food but he needed to grab a quick bite. Handed him my phone to order something and when he handed it back I saw it was the impossible whopper. He had never heard of it and obviously had no clue it was fake meat.

Just like with electric cars, they'll just keep telling us how great they are and how EVERYBODY is buying them.

I am genetically predisposed to high cholesterol. Been on cholesterol meds since 31. If your're looking to cut some meat out of your diet to watch your cholesterol, as my doctor recommended, the Beyond Burgers aren't too bad IMO. I think they fit with the keto diet too if you don't eat them with bread. Not as good as the real thing of course but can satisfy the craving when you don't want to die of a heart attack.
