How long before the Dems turn this into a thing?

I agree with you here. You would have done well to lead off with that instead of pretending to not see the connection between the election and credit card use. But yes, you hit the nail in the head that people need to adjust. Unfortunately, it's not easy for everybody. But that is their fault if they had themselves fully extended before the recession.
With all the money we printed and all the spending and supply chain issues inflation was inevitable. Doesn't matter who is in office. This was going to happen. This is more about personal responsibility than it is Joe Biden. It's weird seeing people who claim to be republicans argue against that. People have been living outside their means for a while now and those that do not adjust or pivot will pay the price. That isn't on Joe Biden.

Yes... because the GOP cares so much about you and personal freedom. They are never beholden to globalist interests or corporate overlords.
It's not black vs white.
It's not right vs left.
It's the wealthy elite vs everyone else. And the wealthy elite own our government.

People like the OP have no intelligent thoughts that they can bring to the discussion.
All they know is "Democrats is evil".
The truth is... it's complicated and economic decisions made under Trump AND Biden and supported by many in Congress are now coming home to roost.

I have to wonder what the credit card industry will look like in 6 months with people trying to defray their card debt by transferring everything to cards with no interest for n amount of days. That's a game that can last only so long...
We do not have any credit card debt. We sparingly use credit cards that we pay off monthly.
The banks do not make a dime of interest off of us. They don't make much in exchange fees, either.
Yet, of the 4 or so days a week I actually receive mail (thanks USPS for your wonderful service), at least three of those days me or my wife have a credit card solicitation that arrives in the mail. And ALL of those letters offer 15 or more months no interest.

OK. I've thought about it. A stolen election has no bearing on me swiping my credit card.
This is typical of someone that has everything that he wants and doesn’t care about others plight. No empathy.
You sir, are a pos with no caring for your fellow man who’s negatively impacted by this fraudulent president and corrupt administration.

While true, the GOP wouldn't sabotage the oil industry and spend 6 trillion dollars
Well, Trump wouldn't, anyway

Or somebody with a 385 credit score who can’t get a card in the first place.

Have you seen their quarterly reports? It's hard to say they have been sabotaged when they are making record profits.
Long term... maybe the industry is being bled to death... but short term that blood is pure gold

That's like hitting someone over the head with a lead pipe and then chastising them for not having better health insurance.

Obtuse statements and attempted snark, classic leftist discussion mantra.

You might not have credit card debt but you still have debt. Who you think owes the $39 trillion the government owes? YOU. And they will collect your share make no mistake.
Posted on 8/2/22 at 3:04 pm to Jjdoc
I expect the Dems to be researching whether forgiving credit card debt and using tax dollars to pay the debts would help them get more votes.

It is absolutely on Biden and his illegitimate/incompetent administration. What admin printed all of the money and put policies in place to hamper supply chains? Ill give you one guess. Also, the policies that they have put in place regarding energy has been a huge part of the inflation. Everything revolves around energy. When you take a country that was energy independent and on purpose torpedo the industry you will cause all expenses to increase. These expenses are passed down to Mr. and Mrs. John Doe or otherwise know as the public. If you cant see this you have to be one of the dumbest SOB's to ever post of this board. Everything this admin has done has been the opposite of what needed to be done to keep our economy from crashing. A jr high student could have seen this coming. Finally stolen elections have consequences because the previous admin would have never let this happen.

quote:You mean like making vaccinations mandatory for truckers that pick up supplies but interact with maybe 3 people a day? You would have to be frigging blind not to see that as political. They had no intentions of easing the supply chain problems. And then California throws a whole other wrench in by requiring independent owner/operators to join a company rather work as independent contractors. If that is not blatant then I don't know what is. For the life of me, I don't understand why SCOTUS chose not to take that one.
policies in place to hamper supply chains?
