San Francisco just released public school data by race: results are sad

It’s not like Asian students have resources that others don’t in SF. Unlike black and white students in the Bay Area, many Asian students are first or second generation with parents who don’t speak English well. Black and white students at least have parents who are fluent/masters of the language

Asians consistently have:
The highest number of 2 parent households
Put the greatest emphasis on education
Immigrants typically have this, and African immigrants for example have high success rates consistently.
If any other group put greater emphasis on those two things as a whole, they would be more successful.

I've always said that we overlook the travesties that Asians went through in most recent memory (WW2 incarceration camps) and yet they are the least violent and most successful minority group.

27.7 % of African-Americans are reading proficient and 40.6% math proficient yet 86% graduate? Allowing them to graduate is latent racism.
