I work 50/60 hours a week and am on call 24/7.
There are things that I need to get done this weekend.
We attended her wedding, that's enough for me.
Why do people think that every little event in their life is a major event in other people's lives?

Eh, you’re a bit at fault here. Like it or not, part of dating someone is occasionally going to things for her friends and family that you’d rather not do.
