When I lived in Baton Rouge it was the B-Quik on Perkins. Not far from the house, at the time a car wash was $3, and it was usually clean.
Now apparently people love to get shot there. How times change.

Not really a gas station, but a corner store. AM Mart at Brightside & Lee is the Goat. Close second in college was S&P at Gardere & Burbank. Where else can you buy a flat of 32oz Red Dog for $10?

Can you honestly pass through Krotz Springs, LA without stopping at Billy's?

As an alcoholic I got a couple gas stations with people who recognize me. I try to go to the least judging one in the morning. Mid afternoon is my second favorite gas station. Ya know cause I’m kind of drunk by then.

The Shell down the street from my house in Baton Rouge. Shaniqua at the counter just really knows how to win my trust and loyalty by being completely unreceptive when I walk up to check out and being rude as shite throughout the entire transaction, capping the entire deal off by ignoring me when I say “thank you”

Yes Frogs at Magnolia truck stop because they are Biden hating, Trump loving guys like me and sell gasoline cheaper than anybody in a 10 mile radius!

We had a Mobile across with street from our condo on Ponderosa off of Millerville where I lived in college. We used to hit that place up daily, usually multiple times a day. Even had the guys that owned it over a few times. Man I miss those days.

There was that one near high school which sold booze to anyone who could put money on the counter and never an ID required but their pumps never had any fuel, all shell parking lot.

Yes.
There is a small independent gas station down the street from my job that is owned by this nice 1st generation immigrant couple. The only people I have ever seen working there are the two of them, there 20ish year old son and there 10-12 year old daughter.
1st time I was in there, there was a line and this old black man yelled “hurry up Osama we are waiting”. It made me cringe.
Their family are all very polite and kind and the neighborhood is very run down.
I make it a point to buy my gas there when I can but I always stop and buy my soda and snacks from them. They now remember my name and I am learning theirs.
I hope their business succeeds.

I know the gas stations in town where all the good soft chewy ice is for the rare moments when I want a Coke. And I know the ones that have the brand of beef jerky I prefer.
This sounds nuts but I try to reward them for these items by filling up my car with gas when I'm there.
