Exactly they aren’t selling how much the tanks in the ground cost to fill they are selling that to pay for the next tank.

I used to own a gas station. You generally mark your gas up to cover CC processing cost then add about a nickel per gallon profit on top of that. Anything more and you aren't competitive. Gas is only to bring people into the store to buy other stuff which is why some places (Walmart, Costco) etc will sometimes sell it at a loss.

This could only come from someone so detached from the day-to-day realities of the private sector. He and his ilk don’t care about the downside here. They’ll benefit from it. If someone is stupid enough to listen to this they’ll be out of business is no time whatsoever.

100% this. He even has the Chinese State Media tweeting in agreement with him. They are taking billions of tax dollars from us and moving it into Ukraine as a nest egg for the aftermath.
