They would. I've made a ton of money from California real estate and west coast elitism is real.

There are some schools that the Big XII could probably get but most wouldn't. Hell, I think Colorado would probably even balk at a religious school.

ETA Kay Hutchison saved your arse by forcing Baylor into the Big XII. Texas Politics won't save Baylor this time. And yes, I think it sucks.

I would much rather OSU than OU in the SEC if I’m being honest. Much better fanbase and better looking women.

Money has changed the landscape. I wish that Oklahoma State, Mizzou, OU, Nebraska, ku, Kansas State, Colorado and Iowa State were still in the Big 8. The conference made sense and had strong rivalries.

But that conference wouldn't make a damn dime in today's marketplace.

All the Baylor haters say Ann Richards got Baylor in, but I’ve been told and read that she didn’t really care and that any effective political influence came from other prominent individuals.

Very few conference realignment moves have made any sense regarding regionality, rivalries, similarities between schools. It’s all about money. Same reason we may see more massive shuffling. I think the SEC might even go away eventually (way down the line) and you just end up with one big 20 league conference of the most popular or influential CFB teams. Who knows where this thing will be in 20 years.

Yeah. His name always seemed more plausible, but he wasn’t as well known as Ann Richards so people always guess her.

Yes, it sounds fine but do you think those schools want to be associated with Cincinnati?

Why wouldn't they? It's certainly a stronger brand than Wazzou or Oregon St. And they bring basketball to the table along with a solid football program.

Richards was a UT grad first. Pretty sure she favored the Horns over Bears.

Why would ANYONE want to joint the PAC-10???
honestly a pac 12 with oregon and washington is better than the new big 12. If oregon and washington stay I would be trying to make a move if i was in the big 12

Since you are from WestCoast why not get Texas A&M to join the Pac 12?

I mean, they're not exactly a valuable brand.

After Nov 18, 2011, OK State deserves whatever misfortune they get.

Not like it is now. Currently the big12 members would be scheduled to play directionals like UCF and city schools like Cincinnati. Much better to play Washington and Oregon over those small fish. Not saying Oregon and Washington are big fish like Ou or Texas but they’re bigger than UCF and Cincinnati
