What should OK State do? I’m thinking them along with KU K State TCU Baylor and Tech should join the existing Pac12 putting them at 16.

Sure it’s not better than the Big 10 or SEC, but it’s certainly right up there with the ACC.

Why would ANYONE want to joint the PAC-10???

That conference is more dead than the Big 12 after the LA schools leave.

Come on man. Think about this in terms of money, academics, politics and prestige.

Thise west coast schools don't want an ag school from Oklahoma nor do they want to deal with the Baptists from Baylor.

Games against Oregon Washington Stanford and Utah are more appealing than games against Iowa State West Virginia UCF and Cincinnati.

Nothing is appealing about playing directional teams and teams in cities opposed to state flagships.

I think we stay put for now. Personally I think the Big 12 likely will add Arizona state, Arizona, Colorado, and Utah. At least until the whole thing explodes.

honestly a pac 12 with oregon and washington is better than the new big 12. If oregon and washington stay I would be trying to make a move if i was in the big 12

The old Power 5 schools left behind should vote to dissolve their leagues and form a brand new one together. Dump the recent Group of 5 adds except maybe Houston.

Yes, it sounds fine but do you think those schools want to be associated with Cincinnati? The Big XII jumped the gun by adding teams just to get to a number. They watered down the conference through their own doing.

The PAC still has major programs and strong academics. The Big XII's only positive is that it has a few schools in Texas that no one else really wants.

Washington
Washington State
Oregon
Oregon state
Utah
Colorado
Cal
Stanford

Oklahoma State
Kansas State
Kansas
Texas Tech
TCU
Baylor
Arizona
Arizona State

You can’t seriously say that the proposed new Big12 looks better than this. I’d potentially swap Kansas for BYU but other than that, the American teams are not ideal.

Oklahoma State, Tech and K State have pretty big followings. They’d be worth considering but academics wise, TCU & Baylor offer a lot.

Not sure how much basketball plays a role but the Big12 is a legit basketball conference and the pac12 would gain from merging.

Do you really think that Stanford, Cal, Oregon and Washington see K State, Oklahoma State and Tech as peers? Not to even mention TCU and the Baptists?

Well their choice is either that or dissolve and become more irrelevant than they already are.

Not a tough choice.

If they don’t add teams and get to that number they’re the conference getting torn apart

Some of those schools would rather disband their Athletic Department than be associated with Kansas State or the tortilla throwing Techsters.

The west coast elites don't view football the way you do.

OK State doesn’t do. Conferences will call them

Tf are you talking about? They already have the Arizona schools Washington State and Oregon State. There isn’t much difference in those and the ones you just listed.

I legitimately think the California schools would rather give up sports than be associated with religious schools.
