So much pain in this thread.
PTSD.
One of the few threads where no one is wrong here.
I think this will be one of, if not my best post.

SF 2012, Seattle 2011 and 2014, Minnesota 2018 and 2020, LA 2019 Tampa Bay 2021. It has been a rough 10 years in the playoffs.

We could have easily beat the Giants. We beat them 49-24 in the regular season. This and not to mention Gronk was running with a cast on his foot in that super bowl, he wouldn't have been able to do what Vernon Davis did to us

No-call
SF
Minnesota is distant third, Eagles would prob have beat us next week. We weren't ready that year, but showed great poise in coming back and should have won that game twice at the end.

It hurt me more when weak arse noodle arm threw the ball at MT-13's feet on a slant from inside the 10 where he would have walked in the end zone untouched before the "No Call" occurred.

It's the "No Call" and it's a play that I'll never forget, accept, or get over. Made all the worse that the Rams just continued to ascend and win a Super Bowl while the Saints trended downward and Payton "lost his smile".
Vernon Davis and Stephon Diggs made incredible plays on the field and as usual, our defense choked when needed the most. It sucks but it happens to every team. I got over those because it was a fair play on the field.

But the No Call takes the cake, and will probably remain that way until/unless the Saints lose an actual Super Bowl in similar manner.
I mean, the game was tied, and we clearly were about to run the clock down for a win at the end. The pass interference was obvious. We were a minute from going to the Super Bowl.

It’s easily the no-call.

Minneapolis Miracle to me. That was heartbreaking.

Pierre Thomas on our first drive that broke his jaw and caused him to fumble and turn the ball over on the goal line instead of scoring really set the tone for that game.
Not to mention losing Thomas forced us to take Sproles off of kickoff returns and Roby fumbled which led to a short field TD for the 49’ers. Wanna bet Donte Whitner picked up a nice chunk of change the next day for laying out Thomas.

Minneapolis miracle for me.
After the No-call, I still thought we would win in OT.

Because the common denominator is the HC when it comes to Ws and Ls. Those that adore payton on this board love to rave about his winning percentage. He is also responsible for those and many more missed opportunities and devastating loses.
This is so weird. No matter the thread, you come in here to shite on the greatest coach in franchise history.

Davis. That was the best Saints team ever.

I went balistic after the No Call. That was the worst call in the history of sports considering the obviousness of the call and the magnitude of the situation. That is #1.
The 49er game is second because we had a great team that just couldn't cover a tight end.
The attempted tackle in the Minnesota game was an embarassing whif.

Ohhhh….you hurt my feelings
How did you feel about payton taunting the Vikings fans as he was blowing a playoff game?
Be honest

Because it’s so easy and factual.
But continue to kneel down to that…
