What is Entergy charging per kWh total
I took just my electric useage cost and "Other charges and credits" and deducted my gas useage.
That total came to $412.86 divided by 2691 KWH for a cost of 15.3 cents per KWH if I did this right. This is for June's bill that came today.

Y’all think it’s bad now? Wait til Entergy is coal free. They’ve been ramping up coal burners and ramping down gas burners because natural gas is so high. Today, coal is responsible for 40% of the MW on MISO. That is all supposed to be replaced in the next 7 years.
You’ll be begging for the $300 energy bills then.

Regs are just starting to trickle in from the new admins EPA. That plus all the ESG nonsense. It'll get worse. Price of producing gas on the rise.
But, you feel better about starving poor people to "save the planet". Lol.

$58 this month
First month this year I have used more than I’ve put back into the grid from solar. Still have credits left from the spring so technically $0 I guess.
People are obviously pissed at your bill from the downvotes, but assuming you don't live in LA? I don't even think we can are allowed to do that here.
Also these $500 bills make the return on solar look a lot better, especially if you can swing the extra cost for on-site battery storage.

$400 electric bill is the new $200 bill
If this is the case, then I would love to live in the $200 bill time. My bill this month with SLEMCO was $179. Last month was $135.

I'm mostly home during the day and have been monitoring our usage .. we're averaging 125kw over the past week (just started taking pics of the meter then .. I don't trust Entergy so I just want to see for myself).
When I compare it to my bill and the usage from last year, it's down about 25KW per day ... and the fuel adjustment at that time was .032025
I guess I'm trying to brace myself.
