This is not a fact. But, I believe he would have been had UM not even made the tournament, which many, myself included, thought would happen. When they made it in, I was very fearful of them and had them winning the Coral Gables regional and called a Super in BR...

Look, I am happy for Mike Bianco but I am also very happy that Jay Johnson is our coach. Time to move on and get behind our Tigers!!

The week of LSU Ole Miss series, both Hunt/Hill and Moscona had sportswriters from Oxford on and they both said the fans have been calling for him to be fired for awhile and the situation was like with Paul at LSU where most people were happy of their wins but team grew stale. Said players and him wasn't getting along, AD and Mike at odds (a lot over interviewing with LSU), and the debate was if it would be at the end of the season or before.
And it's for that reason I hope he holds up the trophy and then tells ole Miss to fans to piss off because they wanted him fired just two months ago.

I live in Mississippi. That’s what was being circulated here. Bianco was on the verge of being fired if OM didn’t make the post season.
