Can anyone explain to me this fad of drag shows?
I don't have an issue with drag shows at actual gay clubs, and have seen plenty of them in those situations.
I find drag brunches to be ultimate cringe. I've said no every time I've been invited.

How dare you compare these mentally ill drags to the legendary Richard Simmons. He helped a lot of people lose weight back in his prime.

It’s recommended for ages 16 and up. I think it sounds fun.
BREC is selling mimosas at the Library for this event but bans alcohol at everyone of its parks/facilities.

Why has it been offensive to have risqué women at business lunches… but now its cheered on to have risque men dressed as women.
I wonder the same thing... If I took the kiddies to a strip club and they tipped strippers I would go to jail. If I take the kiddies to a Gay Bar and let them tip Drag Queens I am a hero and praised by Democrat leaders.

It's all a virtue signal just like everything from the left. Having guys in drag adds nothing to a brunch and certainly adds nothing to a child story time. But You can show how woke you are by hosting one, you can show how woke you are by attending one and posting pics, you can show you are the wokest by posting pictures of your kid at one....that's really all it's for and you cant convince me otherwise

If you want to stop this just meet the drag queens at the door with a drug test. Tell them they have to pass it to enter and I guarantee drag queens will disappear

When will these city governments start having "straight hot stripper fingerpainting" classes?

A win-win for the drag queens.
Show goes on: They are so brave and inspirational. Get attention they crave.
Show canceled: Evil people are oppressing them. Get attention they crave and donations to their gofundme for emotional distress.

The push to normalize this is nationwide, and it’s an “all in” approach by all of our self proclaimed “enlightened” liberals.
Nothing happens by accident, or by some bell that goes off in everyone’s heads all at once. It’s ALL by agenda, and it’s is by all means orchestrated. People who have very malleable minds are quite easily persuaded to jump on board, and for the rest of us, the game is to wear you down, and influence you through your children and your peers, pressuring you into full acceptance, and if that doesn’t change you, then you will be ostracized and kept in line by publicly shaming you and keeping your mouth shut about it.

All of this, and it applies to much more than a drag brunch.

Yep, and it’s the way Californians completely flipped on a ban on same sex marriage from say 2000 when the majority were heavily against same sex marriage to the vast majority of adults today over the age of 55 to younger adults being heavily in favor of same sex marriage. Manipulation and methodical erosion. It’s the framework for their change to our culture, chipping away at the foundation until the building comes crashing down.

Not defending BREC but they so sell beer at Beaver Creek and Santa Maria.

Yep. This was brought up several times over the years. The BR Rugby team couldn't have a keg out at Highland Road Park for rugby matches but golfers could buy beer while golfing right down the road at Santa Maria. This goes back years.

BREC can’t profit from the keg party, but they can from beer sales at their golf courses. It’s pure economics.

I think The point is that it’s not normal.
No one would go to a Normal Show.
