Prayers to you and your family. Lean on your community to help get you through this. Be there for your kids but have someone you can talk to also.

Came home from work on Thursday, she was complaining that she didn’t feel well and was tried. She asked me not to wake her up. I go about getting the house together before we leave for vacation, cutting grass etc. I take shower and eat and I fall asleep in another room of the house. I wake up Friday morning go into the master bedroom and she wasn’t there. I open master bathroom and she is laying there dead on the floor. She is white and ice cold, I immediately knew she was gone. Called 9-11 the medical examiner said he won’t know for sure until all the reports come back and the autopsy is completed. But he believes she had a massive heart attack.

There aren’t easy good words for this. Sorry for your loss. Take your time to grieve and try to find your center. There are answers to many questions you have about the future DONT look at them all at once as some mountain of uncertainties - you’ll tackle them in turn because you are strong. You will be the person your children need. Things will normalize as much as possible. For now just breathe. Thoughts and prayers to you.

I will stop rambling now but for some reasons unknown I felt the need to post this.

Don’t apologize man, post as much as you need.

One of the great things about this site is there’s a bunch of people who have experienced all kinds of things and can talk through it. Keep your head up and I’m sorry for your loss.

So incredibly sorry. Like so many others have said, I hope that you have family that you can lean on in this difficult time. I pray for you and your children...that you may be guided through this trauma and that you are given strength when the time is right.

Dang Man So Sorry to hear this. We had a Zoom Call last Wed and we all log in and our Director logs in like normal. So we all chat few mins before meeting starts and out of the Blue she says her Husband Died earlier that morning. The Zoom Chat just goes silent. We couldn't believe she was there only hours after he husband had died. I'm guessing like You maybe its hard to accept what has happened. As Many have stated be there for you kids but definitely talk to Someone whether it family, friends and continue here if needed. Again Sorry for your loss.

I hope and pray you and your family work through this difficult time. As others have said, don't be afraid to lean on family, friends and church for support.

I can't even imagine. So sorry this happened. You sound like a great guy and great father. My prayers are with you and your family. Only advice I can give is just to take it one day at a time. God Bless you

I lost my wife two years ago. We had a senior and sophomore in high school. It was tough but we made it through and you will too. Fortunately my in-laws helped out a ton. They live in NO but spent quite a bit of time here in Houston. Prayers for you and your family. Call on family and friends. You’ll be surprised how much they care about you and your children.
