It’s because for some reason he wants to believe he saw something no one else did, including the folks reviewing the play in Birmingham. It’s clear as day that what he is talking about are the strings on the glove and not the jersey moving.

You are 100% correct. Fact.

I watched it again with my glasses on.

But the strings are part of the glove, and I think one touched the jersey.

There’s absolutely no need to watch it in slow motion because you can clearly see his glove is not close to the jersey until he basically hits him right on the belt or right below. Slow motion just makes it harder to see that angle when he’s coming in. SAFE and the umpire was right above the whole darn thing, too close in fact.

Agreed, let’s run rule this bitch!

You're seeing the strings of the glove flapping. He tagged him in the balls after his right hand is on the plate.
Quit watching it on your iPhone 4

Putting “fact” in your post doesn’t make it fact. That’s an actual fact for ya.

Don’t get me wrong - I’m glad the ref botched the call.

Dude is saying Crews was out, and is calling the ump “ref”.

Sheesh.

The fact that it was a fantastic slide doesn't change the fact that the Cather's glove actually touched his shirt as it was billowing out before he touched the plate.

It is one of those things that go against us well over half the time. But in this case it went in our favor.

We should not deny the truth however. = 'breaks of the game' is part of the game.

I mean it definitely didn't. Go watch both angles. He was clearly safe.

Glove 100% touches his shirt before his hand touches the base. Does that make him out?

After looking it brushes his shirt and makes wrinkles when his hand is about a foot away

What the tv commentators failed say in all of their analysis of the replay was that the official had by far the absolute best view of the play. He literally was right on top of it, in that he was directly above it. Yet they complained that the official was in their way, lol. He was right where he should have been to make the correct call.

He was safe by a mile. Watch the glove not the jersey. It never touches Crews

No it didn’t. It’s clear as day on the first angle behind the plate that his hand hit before the glove moves in on the jersey. Screenshot the video and slow it down for yourself. He was safe.

Anyone saying he is 100% out, or safe, is full of shite. It was too close to call. Can’t really argue convincingly either way.
